FX Special Effects Curls Up Curl Reviving Mousse
Hey all lovely people.
How is everybody? Today I want to share with you my thoughts on not-so-fancy-but-ok kind of product. I picked this product just to try it out. It’s not a product to rave about. But I don’t hate it either. Read on to know more about it.
Product Description: Curls up Curling Mousse add volume, texture and control to frizzy, uncontrollable curls. Tightens your curls, eliminates frizz and provides long-lasting hold without weighing down or leaving it sticky.
Price: INR 475
Shelf life: 3 years.
To use: Dispense a small amount of mousse into palm. Apply to damp hair. Work into and through hair thoroughly. Scrunch hair and let dry naturally or blow dry with a diffuser. Finish with FX Curl Booster spray for all-day style.
Caution Flammable: Avoid fire or flame until hair is completely dry. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. If this occurs rinse with clean cold water.
My Experience with FX Special Effects Curls Up Curl Reviving Mousse:
The curl reviving mousse comes in a neon yellow translucent plastic bottle. It is cylindrical in shape. To find out the amount of the product you have to see the bottle in light or very closely. The grey coloured nozzle pumps out a good amount of mousse. The nozzle is covered by a clear plastic cap.
After shower, I remove all excess water from my hair and then apply some of this mousse. I just blow dry my hair at the roots with the “cool” setting. By doing so my hair get a little oomph. If I apply the mousse on damp hair the result is not prominent. To avoid frizziness I apply some serum.
The texture is foamy and sticky. Very loose beach waves can be achieved on straight hair. If you have naturally curly hair then you’ll love this. With some serum you’ll have spot on shine. It will not fix the curls instantly because it needs to be applied on damp hair. So you will have to play the waiting game.
Pros of FX Special Effects Curls Up Curl Reviving Mousse:
• Gives decent volume.
• Budget friendly.
• Gives shine if used with serum.
Cons of FX Special Effects Curls Up Curl Reviving Mousse:
• Need to use serum because it dries out hair a little bit.
• Is little sticky.
Do I recommend FX Special Effects Curls Up Curl Reviving Mousse?
I recommend this mousse only to the ladies with naturally curly hair. The result on straight/wavy hair won’t be promising.
Will I repurchase FX Special Effects Curls Up Curl Reviving Mousse?
Final verdict: It’s pretty standard product. I kind of have love-hate relationship with it.
