My Experience with Garnier Loving Blends Honey Gold Intense Nourishing Body Butter:
Garnier is one of my favourite brands. I have used a lot of products from their various ranges. My drawer is filled with Nivea and Garnier products. I had never used a body butter, and this time, as the weather was harsh, I decided to buy a luxurious and rich body lotion. I ended up buying this body butter, though. I have used many products from the ‘Loving Blends’ range; I decided to pick this one up as I have had good experience with this range in the past.
The body butter comes in a tub. Like its name, Honey Gold, the tub is kind of orange-brown in colour and the screw cap is golden yellow in colour. The screw cap can be tightened, is travel-friendly and easy to carry around. There is a lot of information on the tub regarding the product. The mouth of the tub is sealed and I love this, considering that I prefer the products sealed. The body butter is lemon yellow-orangish in colour. The body butter is extremely thick and very rich. The smell is very pleasant as the butter smells like caramel. Yummy!
The texture of the body butter is very thick and it kind of breaks. The first time I picked up the product I felt it wasn’t very smooth and was kind of fluffy. But when the body butter is spread, it applies like butter on the skin, hence is very easy to use. The body butter gets absorbed well by the skin but it takes a few seconds to get absorbed. It adds a subtle shine after absorption, but is not greasy.
A little product is more than enough for application and the body butter moisturises the skin very well. The body butter heals dryness completely within a few uses and the hydration effects last for almost a day. I don’t have to reapply the product the second time in the same day. The body butter is made for dry skin and I haven’t seen a product better than this for nourishing the skin.
This body butter is not a good choice if you are in tropical climate, considering its richness. It can cause a lot of sweat in such environment. But if you are in chilly temperatures, this product is perfect for you. The body butter also reduces the itchiness caused due to dryness. Overall, this body butter is a good buy. And, when compared to a lotion, this product is way better!
