My Experience with Garnier Loving Blends Body Honey Treasures Intense Nourishing Bodymilk:
Loving Blends is my favourite range from Garnier. I have used her hair care range and when the body range came out; I knew I had to buy. I have dry skin on my body so I picked up the products meant for dry skin.Knowing the hydrating effects of honey, I picked this one up.
The body milk comes in a pump bottle. Pump comes with the lock system and thus there can be no leakage and the product is completely travel-friendly. The body milk comes in an orange brown bottle with a golden cap, similar to honey! The body milk is more like body butter. It is rich, thick and creamy. The product smells like caramel honey and is off white in colour. The smell doesn’t last long. The cream takes time to get absorbed onto the skin considering its thick consistency. But once absorbed it doesn’t leave any residue or any greasy feeling. The skin is hydrated and moisturized.
I need 2 pumps for effective moisturisation of my legs and hands. When applied the lotion gives a mild sheen to the skin and after it dries the skin is effectively moisturized and looks plump and healthy. The skin also feels smooth. The lotion is made for dry or very dry skin and the lotion does justice to the same. The lotion instantly nourishes the dryness. I really like the way it hydrates my elbows. However, the effect doesn’t last all day long. I apply this in the morning around 7am and by 5pm when I am back, I already tend to have dryness and I have to reapply the product again.
During situations when I am out, I can get the itchy sensation due to extreme dryness and I need to reapply the product and this is something I am not so fond of. It is around 20-25 degrees now and I experience dryness after 8 hours. I am sure in the winters when the temperature is in ‘minus’, this product would give half the results. Overall, it is a good product for the autumn but not for extreme temperatures. So summing up,
