My Experience with Gillette Venus Breeze 2-in-1 Razor:
The Gillette Venus Breeze 2-in-1 Razor comes in a beautiful plastic box. The front part has some pretty violet coloured floral prints whereas the other side has a nice plastic tray, which contains one razor and one cartridge. The cartridge comes in a small plastic box which can be used as a cap.
The razor has a beautiful lavender coloured clear plastic wand with a rubber grip, which makes it easy to hold and it helps to keep a good control while shaving. I love this luxurious packaging. It also has a clip section that holds the cartridge in its place strongly. Firstly, I need to attach the cartridge into the razor by pressing on the clip which I can change it according to my needs. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.
The razor is a 2-in-1 product since it has two shave gel bars on the cartridge. It doesn’t need a separate shaving cream. On the upper and lower sides of the cartridge, it has two lavender coloured shaving gel bars which create a light lather. However, I need to dampen the razor to create a lather. It glides smoothly on the skin without any effort.
These shaving gel bars have a beautiful floral smell, which I love. The razor is easy to use and the built-in gel bars work nicely on the skin. It also rinses off easily. Overall, the shaving procedure is easy. Also, the quantity of the gel bars are sufficient and they don’t melt quickly. Though it can’t create a lot of foam like a shaving gel or a shaving foam, still it works nicely on the skin. It is perfect for a quick shave. I feel the lather is enough for shaving normal hair. But, if you want to do a bikini wax then, this lather won’t be enough for the purpose. However, it is good for shaving your legs and underarms.
Like their previous razor, this one also has three blades in it. The razor head is flexible enough to move up and down. I can easily shave the curved areas without any effort. The blades are sharp that work very smoothly without tugging. It glides so smoothly and quickly; I can shave my entire leg within a minute. The razor works faster without causing any scar or cut. It can shave even the tiniest of hairs on my skin. It leaves a super smooth and fresh feeling to my skin.
One stroke can shave all the hair. It doesn’t leave a single tiny hair on the skin. I love its performance. It also has two moisturiser bars just above the blades which provide a decent hydration to the skin. My skin feels soft and silky. It never makes my skin dry. I feel the shaving gel bars are very hydrating that is great for dry skin too. It feels very gentle on skin and never irritated my super sensitive skin.
Now, my hair doesn’t grow up super quickly so, the overall effect lasts for around a week, after which I need to reuse it. But, the effects last more on my legs. However, this result varies from person to person. The only problem is, you need to throw the cartridge once the gel bar ends up. It might happen before the blades lose its sharpness, so it totally depends on your usage. Also, the razor dries out quickly, but the shaving gel bar takes a little time to dry which doesn’t create any problem. If you want to carry it, you can easily use the cartridge box as a cap to avoid any mess.
Overall, I am super happy and fully satisfied with this new razor. It works smoothly and very quickly on the skin. It is very easy to rinse as well. It takes less time and is very effective in shaving the tiniest of hairs too. So, it is certainly a must-have product.
