Himalaya Clarina Anti Acne Face Mask Review

My skin behaves nicely most of the times, but when it starts to misbehave, I have a quick fix for it. No, its not this particular face mask, its Himalaya Neem Face Mask. I always rely on it whenever my skin gives me a hard time. I just scrub my face a little and then quickly apply the neem face pack and I know everything will be alright 🙂 One day, I went to a beauty store to buy neem face pack and the SA recommended this one. I greedily bought the face wash and the face mask. Let’s see if this one is better than my beloved neem pack.
Product Description:

Clarina has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, antioxidant, astringent, and emollient and soothing effects, which act synergistically in the management of acne. The antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties of Clarina help control infection and inflammation in acne lesions. The cooling, soothing, and emollient properties of Clarina are useful in relieving burning sensation and pruritus, and make the skin soft and supple.

My Experience with Himalaya Clarina Anti Acne Face Mask:
The packaging is exactly like neem face mask, but the result is not even half as good. This product is so creamy that at times I feel I am applying a layer of cream on my face and not a face mask. It smells like a perfume. I keep it for 20 minutes and when I wash my face, it’s the same! I thought the company has taken a step further in skin care by launching this particular range, but I think, they were not able to outdo their “neem” range, which is considerably cheaper and far more effective than this one.
I have tried this 3 times, but in my opinion, it didn’t change and as far as the face wash is concerned, it didn’t do anything. Again, I will say even the face wash has such a strong perfume smell that will make you think about the bunch of chemicals that have gone into this so-called “herbal product.” A herbal product can’t smell like that, can it??? I have given up on both the products and have got a back up of my trusted “neem face pack.”
Pros of Himalaya Clarina Anti Acne Face Mask:
- Did not find any pros.
Cons of Himalaya Clarina Anti Acne Face Mask:
- False claim by the company.
- Very strong fragrance.
- Didn’t do anything for pimples.
- Very creamy.
- Doesn’t dry.
Basically, it did nothing for my skin and I think because of the strong smell, I tortured my skin instead of doing some good!!
IMBB Rating:
1/5.

Thats sad Nidhi…didint work for you…I am using its anti-acne cream and its works wonders for my acnes….
glad Sukanya :-).. i am happy to hear that Kashti 🙂
Hi, I feel really sorry that you had to go through this. I used this whole kit for my acne and it did wonders. Obviously results were not overnight and also i applied it like daily and that too after keeping it in a refrigerator for some time. It didn’t clear the face but reduced the acne considerably. Dried the pimples totally and the skin also came out gently after maybe 10 days of continuous application. All i have now are the red marks of pimples which i hope will fade away naturally with time. I think the case with Himalaya products is that they either suit you or they don’t work at all… i have never seen any effect on my skin after using the Neem range.
Keep experimenting 🙂
