Pigmented or dark lips are usual and common with everyone! We tend to have atleast one of the lips more pigmented than the other. With the summers getting hotter, tanning or darkening of the lips is not something unusual. Here are some home remedies to cure dark lips, I hope you’d like them.
Soak almonds in water overnight. Then paste them in the morning. Apply it regularly to the lips and massage it into your lips. Let this paste sit on your lips for a while and then wash off. You could also add a few drops on lemon juice into this paste and apply it.
Sugar scrubs helps a lot for the same cause, read my LUSH Pow Pow review HERE. If not this, you can make one for yourself at home too. Just mix some sugar and oil and scrub it on your lips. Mix sugar with grinded almond , and honey and scrub off your pucker.
Rub a pinch of turmeric on your lips, you could mix it with milk cream or even Vaseline. You can do this as often as you want. This apparently smoothens the lips too.
Curd. Mix lemon juice and curd and apply it to the pout. Keep it for a while and rinse off. You could also mix a little glycerin with lemon juice and apply it. This is a sure shot remedy.
Rub beetroot on your lips as often as you can, and you can see the results in less than a week’s time. Pasted rose petals also help make your pucker pink and naturally beautiful. Mix this paste with milk cream and apply it over nights.
Other than this, rub sliced tomato on the lips as frequently as possible and also use the toothpaste the scrub the pout.
