Homemade Face Pack for Clear, Glowing and Hydrated Skin

With the festive season right around the corner, it’s necessary to take care of your skin right from the beginning so that you have a picture perfect skin on the main days! So today, I thought it would be fair enough to share with you all a lovely face pack that I have been using pretty much every other day for the past 3 months. It’s super easy to make and leaves a beautiful glow on face.

You Will Need:

• Honey
• Lemon juice

Step 1

Take all the dry ingredients and grind them very well until you get a powder. Now, add ingredients in no specific ratios because I made a lot of this mixture, so that I could store it in an airtight container and use it later. Here are the measurements I took – 4 tbsp of oats, 10-12 almonds, 3 tbsp of gram flour, 1 tbsp of turmeric powder. Once you grind them well, just store in an airtight container and then you can use it later for a long time.

Step 2

Take a tbsp of the powder you just made and mix in some lemon juice and honey to make a paste. If you prefer rose water, you can substitute it for lemon juice. If you are not so fond of honey on your skin, use ½ tbsp of yogurt instead.

Step 3

Apply the mixture on your face, but make sure it’s clean of any makeup or any other product. Wash it off using circular motions after 15-20 minutes. This face pack also acts as a mild exfoliator and leaves your skin bright and soft.

Benefits:
I like this face pack as it’s easy to make, and using it has definitely improved my skin. Almonds impart moisture to the skin while oats help exfoliate the skin gently. The turmeric powder makes sure that you get rid of all the tan and gram flour acts as a cleanser and base. Whenever my skin is feeling dry, I always add in a tbsp of yogurt. It instantly moisturises my skin giving it a nice glow. The lemon juice along with honey cleanses your face and keeps it hydrated.

With Diwali approaching soon, I think everyone should be including a homemade face pack in their beauty regimen to keep everything balanced. Also make sure to cleanse your face before going to bed and to apply a face oil that suits your needs to keep your skin healthy. Drink lots of water and regularly exfoliate, and don’t forget to moisturise for the changing weather tends to make skin dry.
