Indian Keto Diet Plan for Weight Loss

Keto diet plan is recently a super hit diet for all those who are willing to shed a few kilos. It allows you to indulge in good food and lose weight at the same time. However, most diet plans consists of fancy food items that are not easily available in India. In this post, I will tell you about an awesome Indian Keto diet plan that will allow you to lose weight with desi food. This plan also has choices for vegetarians. Try to follow this one month plan and you will be amazed to see the changes.

Choose among the multiple options provided in each category.
Breakfast
• Cheese pakora fried in coconut oil or peanut oil.
• Cheesy egg omlette (use 2 eggs) with lots of cheese and cook it in butter.
• Cheesy scrambled egg with lots of capsicum (cooked in olive oil and butter).
• Grilled tofu with olive oil dressing and strawberry smoothie.

Lunch
• Vegetable salad with spinach, capsicum, mushrooms, stir fried in olive oil and butter. Non-vegetarians can add chicken or eggs to it. If it is just vegetables, top it with lots of cheese.
• Cream of palak soup with stir fried mushrooms/ broccoli/ sweet corn.
• Cauliflower curry in coconut milk and coconut oil.

Snacks
• Upma or poha.

Dinner
• Baked spinach with cheese and cream.
• lemon chicken soup.
• Paneer pakora fried in peanut oil.
• Stir fried mutton.
• Cabbage salad.
• Spinach soup with paneer.

Week 2

Indian Keto Diet Plan for Weight Loss Week 2

The specialty of this week is a mixture of coconut oil, cream and butter which you need to gulp down for breakfast in the morning. It is tough to eat but you will have to do it. Add it to your coffee to make it easier. This coffee is also called “Bullet Coffee”. You can add spices to it (no sugar definitely) to make it acceptable to your palette.

Breakfast
• Bullet Coffee (Coffee/ tea mixed with coconut oil, cream and butter mix).

Lunch
• Vegetable salad with spinach, capsicum, mushrooms, stir fried in olive oil and butter. Non-vegetarians can add chicken or eggs to it. If it is just vegetables, top it with lots of cheese.
• Spicy, fried paneer pakora.
• Red channa salad.
• Lemon chicken.
• Soya nugget curry.
• Stir fried Ladies finger with peanuts.

Snacks
• Cucumber.
• Poha.

Dinner
• Stir fried french beans with cheese.
• Cauliflower cooked in coconut milk and coconut oil.
• Cream of mushroom.
• Chicken stew.
• Cheese pakora.

Week 3

Indian Keto Diet Plan for Weight Loss Week 3

This week will be very tough and you need to be consistent. In this week, you will have to take early breakfast and then dinner after a fasting stage of 12 hours. This is called intermittent fasting stage.

Breakfast
• Bullet coffee.

Lunch
You will have to sip water, lemon water, green tea throughout the 12 hours of fasting.

Dinner
• 6-8 soaked almonds everyday for this week.
And any of the rest
• Chicken in pesto sauce with paneer and spinach leaves stir fried in olive oil.
• Chilly paneer.
• Chicken barbecue with spinach and cheese salad.
• spinach egg omlette with lots of cheese.
• Baked French bean with cheese.
• Creamed spinach.

Week 4

Indian Keto Diet Plan for Weight Loss Week 4

This week is even tougher than the third week. If you cannot continue, start again from week 2. In this week, the only meal of the day is dinner. You will have to drink lemon water, green tea, plain water throughout the day to keep hunger at bay. There are plenty of options for diner and you can indulge in any of them.

Breakfast
• Black tea or lemon tea or peach tea (without sugar).
• Black coffee.

Lunch
• Green tea (without sugar).
• Lemon water (without sugar).
• Lots and lots of water.

Dinner
• Stir fried Green beans with coconut and peanut.
• Szechwan chicken.
• Spinach cooked in milk, cream and cheese.
• Stir fried veggies with spices and cream dressing.
• Chicken stew.
• Cheese pakora.
• Thai chicken.
• Lemon chicken.
• Stir fried paneer with spinach and bell pepper.
• Cooked Cauliflower/Broccoli with coconut oil and coconut milk.
• Almond flour pancakes.
This diet plan shows result in a month. However as it involves fasting, it is important to consult dietician or a physician to find out if your body is ready to accept this diet.
