Hello Beautiful Ladies,
Today I will be reviewing about a gel liner from the brand Inglot. This is my second gel liner and the first one from Inglot. I have heard good things about Inglot Gel Liners and so I thought of buying this one, but I didn’t want to get a black liner as I already have one, so I brought a grey liner.
WATERPROOF Long-lasting waterproof formula. Can be used as an eye shadow or body painting gel. Brush number 30T is recommended for eyeliner application. PARABEN FREE FORMULA NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS
My Experience with Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel 78:
The liner comes in a little round tub packaging with a black colored twist open cap. The tub is further packed into a black colored box which contains all the details about the ingredients, the price and weight of the product. The packaging of the gel liner is sturdy and is safe to travel with.
As I already mentioned earlier, shade no. 78 is a grey colored liner. It is a shade that can easily be worn everyday without looking overdone or too bright. This is a good alternative to a black liner. The color has good pigmentation and thankfully only a single layer has to be applied in order to get the opaque color.
The liner is easy to apply and applies very smoothly on the lids. As the company claims, the liner is waterproof and once set it does not smudge and stays for all day long. But the negative point of the liner is that it takes too long to dry and which causes it to get transferred onto the eye shadow if the eyes are not shut properly. I faced this problem when I first applied the liner. Thankfully that day I was not wearing an eye shadow and hence I was able to clean the liner from the upper parts of my lids. I felt that the liner was a little liquidy which made it a bit difficult for me to apply it. But as the time passed the consistency became better but the drying time is still the same. 🙁
Overall, yes I am a bit worried about its drying time, but I loved the fact that it stayed on my lids for the complete day without even fading and so I will give this product another try. Also, as the color stays for the whole day it will make a good eye shadow base as claimed by the company.
Pros of Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel 78:
- Not tested on animals.
- Paraben free.
- Stays for all day long without smudging.
- Easy to apply.
- Comes out opaque in a single swipe.
- Cute sturdy packaging that is safe to travel with.
- They come in a variety of colors.
- Can be also used as an eye shadow/eye shadow base.
Cons of Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel 78:
- A little pricy.
- Takes a bit too long to dry which might cause it to get into the water line in the inner corner.
- Does not come with a brush like the Maybelline one (I know that it is too much to ask for but I would have really appreciated it if this would have had a brush with it).
Would I repurchase Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel 78?
Yes! Though I do have little doubts about the product, I would buy it again but this time in a different color.
Would I recommend Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel 78?
Yes! This is something that will stay with you for the whole day without fading or smudging
