Inglot Eye Shadow Matte 368 Review

Inglot Eye Shadow Matte 368

Hello everyone.

Today I am going to review a beautiful matte peachy orange eye shadow by Inglot. I have always been a non-believer of eye makeup. The reason being is that I have hooded lids, and also who has the time in the world to get artistic with eyes early morning? I am definitely not the one.

Inglot eye shadow matte #368

It was quite some time since I was looking out for a shade that could give a neat and presentable look to my eyes without having to use any brush. I am a big fan of Korean movies and it is amazing how those actresses look so flawless with minimal makeup.

So, the shade that I am reviewing today is such kind of a shade that you just apply all over your lid for the most natural and brightened up eyes. It is a very low-maintenance shade and super wearable by all the skin tones. The good news is that you can even go slightly wrong with this because it hardly needs any blending. Godsend for me:D Anyway, let us start with the review.

Product Quantity: 2g

Price: Rs. 560/-

Packaging: It comes in a large black plastic round case with a see-through lid that needs to be rotated in order to open. It is light weighted and easy to carry around.

My experience with Inglot Eye Shadow Matte 368:

It is a warm matte peach toned shade with yellow undertones. The colour is more on the sheer side and not very vibrant and pigmented. I had to apply 3 swipes in my swatches to be picked up by the camera. It is not the kind of colour that would pop up but it would subtly add glow to your eyes. It can be used to create a fresh and natural looking eye makeup on a daily basis. You can even use it for blending and evening out the dark bold shades with this shade.

It goes on smoothly but has a powdery texture. It has a fall out so it is better to be used in a patting motion rather than swiping. I usually apply the shade with my fingers but if you intend to use a brush, then I would recommend tapping off the excess product and then pat on the lids. That way it would work the best.

The shade #368 looks like my own skin on a single swipe. It just evens out my skin on the lid. So, I usually apply 3 swipes of it and a hint of coloured eyeliner and get away with it. It hardly takes 2 minutes for this look and provides a neat finish to the eyes. It stays on my eyelids for 4-5 hours without creasing. You can always use a primer underneath to extend the wear time.

On medium and darker skin tone, this shade appears to be more peach than orange. For darker skin tones, this shade could also be used for highlighting the brow-bone. On lighter skin tone, this shade would look more orange than peach. So, this shade is for everyone. I don’t apply mascara on a daily basis, but I would highly recommend using that because mascara would intensify the look, resulting in a youthful and fluttery eye look.
