Inglot Eye Shadow Freedom System & My Palette

I bought the Inglot EyeShadow Palette. Inglot has a freedom system where you can make your own customized palette.

Each eyeshadow was priced at Rs 266.67

Overall price was Rs 2560 but we have a shopping festival going on here. So I got Rs 300 discount. Also , I got a free Inglot pouch. :))

The eyeshadow palette comes with a huge mirror and there is space for tiny brush. I suggest not to purchase it because It’s a tiny brush and would cost your Rs 400. It didn’t look useful as well. 🙁

Anyway coming to the shades. Inglot has a huge selection. You wouldn’t find so many colours in any other brand. It’s crazy. Making a palette of just 6 eye shadows was so difficult. I picked up 9-10 colours. Tested a tried on my eyes and then finalized the 6. The makeup artist was very helpful. He patiently did makeup for me using all eye shadows. Not only that he even asked me not to pick up a few colours that wouldn’t look good on me. :yes:

While selecting the shades the only thing I kept in mind was that I should be able to mix and match the colours and create a complete look. I don’t know the shade numbers because they are written below the eye shadow pans. :(( But any way following are the shades. May be next time when I visit Inglot, I’ll find out the shade numbers. 🙂

EyeShadow 1 is a beautiful pale golden highlighter. This goes with every single  shade in the palette. It has a satin finish.

EyeShadow 2 is a bronzy golden colour. You cna use it all over the lid or just as a highlighter.

EyeShadow 3 is a deep bronze colour with very fine golden shimmer.

EyeShadow 5 is an aqua blue colour with Golden sheen.

Eye Shadow 4 is a Deark deep blue with blue and purple shimmer.

Eye Shadow 5 is a pink with silver shimmer. We’ll that’s the only pink that really brightened up my eyes.

These eyeshadows are beautifully pigmented and they barely have a fall out. No creasing, no fading. Perfect is THE word. 🙂

    1. Every single ey shadow from Inglot is fantastic, HD. I have never had a complaint from them. Also these are much sasta than MAC eye shadows. MAC eye shadow would have costed me around Rs 5000.

      If at all, may be pick up a matte colour since you have all shimmery colours . 🙂

          Look for purple and taupe. You have a shimmery taupe and purple in your eye shadow quad. That mite help. Vaise when you’ll go there you’ll get to know yourself what you want and what you don’t. They give you variety. 🙂

Know what…someone once told me “Singapore is not good – too many rules and regulations ..there is cctv everywhere in the shop …cant steal” I was so shocked I just asked like “You go to the shop to steal?” Apparently they didn’t mean that..but really how can anybody come up with a complaint like that????????????????????

                  1. Yeah you can’t spit or litter. And people wear gloves when they take their dogs for a walk. They keep cleaning the poo poo .

        1. They give this pouch if you shop for more than 2000. The discount is going on at our Select City mall. It’s a shopping festival. You get a 10 % discount on your every bill . 🙂

Arrowroot is used as an article of diet in the form of biscuits, puddings, jellies, cakes, hot sauces, etc., and also with beef tea, milk or veal broth, noodles in Korean and Vietnamese cuisine. In the Victorian era it was used, boiled with a little flavoring added, as an easily digestible food for children and people with dietary restrictions. With today’s greater understanding of its limited nutritional properties, it is no longer used in this way.[2]

      Arrowroot makes clear, shimmering fruit gels and prevents ice crystals from forming in homemade ice cream. It can also be used as a thickener for acidic foods, such as oriental sweet and sour sauce. It is invaluable in cooking when you wish to have a clear, thickened sauce, for example, a fruit sauce. It will not make the sauce go cloudy, as for example will cornstarch, flour or other starchy thickening agents.

      The lack of gluten in arrowroot flour makes it useful as a replacement for wheat flour in baking. Like other pure starches, however, arrowroot is almost pure carbohydrate and devoid of protein, thus it does not equal wheat flour nutritionally.

      Arrowroot thickens at a lower temperature than does flour or cornstarch, is not weakened by acidic ingredients, has a more neutral taste, and is not affected by freezing. It doesn’t mix well with dairy, forming a slimy mixture.[3] It is recommended to mix arrowroot with a cool liquid before adding to a hot fluid. The mixture should be heated only until the mixture thickens and removed immediately to prevent the mixture from thinning. Overheating tends to break down arrowroot’s thickening property. Substitute two teaspoons of arrowroot for one tablespoon of cornstarch, or one teaspoon of arrowroot for one tablespoon of wheat flour.[4]
