How to Use:
Release an appropriate amount onto your hand, and apply around your eye areas. Gently pat with your fingers for better absorption.

My Experience with Innisfree Jeju Pomegranate Revitalizing Eye Serum:

Packaging:
It comes in a stunning red coloured bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottle has the mini size and carries 30 ml of the eye serum. The packaging is travel-friendly and easy to use. The eye serum has an outer cardboard packaging as well. Both – the bottle and the outer box – house all the information regarding the product.

Texture and Fragrance:
The eye serum has a creamy texture and a gel-like consistency. It glides on the skin effortlessly and I don’t have to rub it hard to make it get absorbed. The consistency is perfect to work with. The formula is non-sticky and non-greasy hence does not feel heavy on the skin. The serum has a pale yellowish tint to it with a mild fragrance that is not at all noticeable unless you sniff it.

Usage/Results:
This eye serum is pretty easy to use; just apply an appropriate amount and tap gently. It spreads on the skin very effortlessly and gets absorbed into the skin easily. The serum does not make the skin greasy or tacky. It can be used in the day time as well as night time, but I don’t use it twice. Well, there is a reason for everything. When I apply this serum and tap for a few seconds, it seems to get absorbed and most of the product actually gets absorbed. However, when I swipe my finger over the under eye area even after an hour or so, the remaining product balls up. Though the balled up product is never too much it is still there.

Please note, the skin does not look greasy but sometimes the product leftover is still there. Hence, it is not a wise choice to use this serum during the day. Thus, I use this serum only at the night time when I don’t have to worry about it balling up accidentally. Also, during initial usage, I found that it made the under eye area a bit itchy and eyes watery. I didn’t make any other change in my skincare regimen or any significant change in diet, so clearly this eye serum was to be blamed. Thus, initially I didn’t use this eye serum every night.

After a couple of application, I almost gave up on this serum. However, after a few days of usage (nearly a week), my eye area adapted to the formula and I didn’t face this issue anymore. When using the eye serum, try not to apply it over the lashline as it makes the eyes water. Before using this serum, the skin around my eyes was in a very bad shape. Bad schedule and negligence led to dark circles and puffiness.

I opted for anti-ageing eye serum as I believe that skin care products must be used according to skin concerns, and I had dryness, dullness in the under eye area. I don’t have fine lines or wrinkles, though. So, despite the on-off usage over a month, this eye serum managed to make my eye area brighter and treated dark circles to an extent. And, I believe with the continuous usage it will make my eyes look much brighter and remove dark circles too.

It makes the eye area softer and smoother. It does provide moisture and hydration, but I am not completely satisfied with it. I wanted my under eye area to be plumped, which this serum failed to do. Other than this, I cannot comment on its effectiveness on wrinkles as I don’t have them.

Overall:
This eye serum is very potent, but it has many flaws that cannot be overlooked. It does treat the signs of ageing but also makes the initial usage uncomfortable for sensitive eyes. It treats dark circles and brightens up the skin effectively whether you use it regularly or not.

What does it fail to do? Though this eye serum does everything, it fails to hydrate the skin effectively. It moisturises the skin though. I was expecting some plumping effects from the serum since it offers anti-aging benefits but it failed in this area too. In other words, it is not a heavy-duty hydrating eye serum.
