Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream Review
Hello beautiful people.

Hope all of you are doing fine and excited for the upcoming X-mas and New Year! We are also quite excited as my hubby shares his b’day date on X-mas day, so it’s double the fun for us. Anyway, I am back again to share my recent Josie Maran mini haul with you all! Josie Maran is a well known brand among IMBBians for sure. Who can ever get bored of her argan oil infused products, which are decent and always manage to get placed in our shopping list. At least in my case I always get one or more JM products for sure. This time I bought her travel size product, considering my upcoming trip. So, let’s start with Josie Maran Whipped Argan oil, intensive hand cream today!
Price:

$12 for 1.0 Fl oz (30 ml) and $22 for 2.37 Fl Oz (70 ml), I bought its travel size 30 ml hand cream in a set for $9 over all
Product Description:
What is it: Josie’s ultra-hydrating hand cream super-hydrating formula is infused with pure argan oil, shea butter, and aloe vera to help hydrate, heal, and protect dry, cracked hands. This fast-absorbing cream spreads easily and has a non-greasy finish.
Ingredients:
Who is it for: Ideal for those battling rough, dry, cracked, or aging hands.
Why is it different: Infused with natural skin soothers like Josie’s 100% pure argan oil and shea butter, this rich cream helps improve skin’s softness.
How do I use it: Massage into hands whenever skin feels tight or dry.
Packaging: This luscious and light weight cream comes in a sturdy and opaque golden bronze tube packaging with safety cap. The packaging reminds me of our boroline tubes as the cap looks similar to that, apart from the over all look. As of now these hand creams are launched in 3 flavors with vanilla apricot, sweet citrus and an unscented version. I have tried samples of all and finally find my solace in sweet citrus, which is much milder and hardly noticeable over the other versions. The packaging is quite hygienic, user friendly and travel friendly at the same time.
My Experience with Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream:
Winters are taking a toll on my hands. My worry started when I heard that often most ignored skin area tends to make us look older much faster than our facial skin. This includes our neck region, hands etc. Since then I have been religiously following a hand care routine in conjunction with CTM. And this hand cream made my task so easy. I usually swear by my mom’s sugar + lemon scrub which gives instant soft hands. Then by following with this hand cream, which sinks like a dream into my skin, that’s left clean and dry.
It has a perfect consistency, neither too thick to cause sweating nor too thin to create a mess. Its just apt for me to slather on anytime during day hours or at bed time, though I need a generous amount of cream to massage in between my hands. It appears to be a gel like cream, which immediately absorbs into the skin and I literally feel no trace of oil or grease behind even after using it generously. However, I was quite skeptical about its efficacy for it seemed too light and oil free to treat our chapped skin. But, it certainly impressed me as I see soft and supple skin with no dry flaky skin at all.
Though, we may need to wait a week to see good results on our skin. This depends on the degree of dryness as well. I actually over looked my hands and it took me 3-4 days to bring them to a natural glowing state and now I can feel feather soft skin, 24 hours. However, I doubt if it treats ageing skin. I use it multiple times a day since I have a tendency to wash my hands. This often takes moisture and the cream off my skin. It tends to give me soft and hydrated skin for a good 8-10 hours alone.
Moreover, its mild citrus smell is perfect for people like me who often hate scented skin care products. I am quite excited to use it in summers as well, considering its light weight texture and results. I liked it more than the Soap and Glory hand food cream because it incorporated more naturally extracted and/or natural ingredients, along with its quick sustainable results. For oily, combination and normal skin it is certainly a keeper all year round. I guess dry skin beauties may try it in summers.
Pros of Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream:
- Its an effective and luscious hand cream formulated with number of beneficial organic and/or natural
ingredients such as: argan oil, coconut oil, olive fruit oil, shea butter, aloe-vera etc…. - It does not contain parabens, synthetic fragrances and is a cruelty free product.
- It immediately sinks into the skin, with no trace of grease or oil left behind.
- It is a very light-weight hand cream, which is quite effective against dryness and flaky skin.
- It does not cause any sweating from the hands nor it accentuates any issues
- It keeps our skin soft, supple and hydrated for a good 8-10 hours.
- It keeps dry, scaly skin at bay with its intensive hydrating properties, right from day one of usage.
- It does not have any nauseating, overpowering smell, just a mild citrus smell which is hardly
noticeable once it is rubbed in. - Available in a hygienic tube packaging in two sizes both for family as well as travel purpose.
Cons of Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream:
- It is not 100% natural
- We need a generous amount of product as it disappear in seconds once rubbing on hands.
- It is not an anti-ageing miracle cream.
- It might be tricky for dry skin beauties.
Would I Recommend/ Repurchase Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream?
Well apart from these minor cons I have no reason to crib about this purchase, as I see that it is just a treatment for hands which might delay ageing and not treat it. I would certainly like to get it again and anytime. I would choose this hand cream over my Soap and Glory hand food cream.
IMBB rating:
For me it is 4.3/5!
