So winter is officially here and so are dry cracked lips. I need to use a lip balm throughout the year, but during winters I need to use it like crazy after every 2-3 hours. I need to re-apply a lip balm and I have many of the tinted ones, non tinted ones; reapplication is a must for me. So I decided to invest in these and try my luck out. I went to Kiehl’s and bought a lot of stuff from there and decided to give this a try.

My Take on Kiehl’s Facial Fuel No-Shine Moisturizing Lip Balm:
It comes in a blue colored tube packaging with a silver cap which shuts with a click sound. For me it is a little pricey for a lip balm, at least that is what I thought at first. But after using this everyday for around 2 weeks now, I think it is a good investment. It smells amazing – it has a minty scent which feels so good when you apply this and it has a cooling effect which lasts for about 2-3 minutes post application. It has absolutely no color which I like because if worn under a lipstick, it does not mess with the true color of my lipstick. Also it is very lightweight and does not feel heavy on my lips, like it has no weight at all.
It does not have a tacky or weird stickiness to it. It doesn’t just sit on my lips, but actually starts healing my cracked and dry lips, and provides a lot of moisture to them instantly. No matter how dry my lips are feeling, it just takes away all the dryness within a minute. It has no shine, so it helps me if I want to wear a matte lipstick (which actually looks matte even after using a lip balm underneath) so that I do not feel uncomfortable. Another thing which I have noticed is that when I would use normal lip balms like Nivea, Vaseline, etc., my lips would get moisturized, but a layer of my lips would start to peel off after around an hour of application.
I do not have this problem anymore. It keeps my lips moisturized for at least 5 hours like am not joking, even if I eat anything in between it fades away, but my lips remain soft and supple. I do not feel the need of reapplying my lip balm every 2 hours. It is a life saving lip balm for me.

Cons of Kiehl’s Facial Fuel No-Shine Moisturizing Lip Balm:
• Price can be a con for some people but I think it is worth every penny
• Kiehl’s products are not easily available all over India
