Kiko Milano Face 105 Flat Foundation Brush Review

Hello IMBBians,

Beauty tools play a role in achieving flawless makeup. Achieving a good foundation base is happiness for all of us! There are several tools like beauty blenders, silicone sponges, and foundation brushes available. Few women are comfortable with using fingers for applying foundation. I use all these tools to achieve a good base depending on the time I have. I have been using Essence Makeup Brush for the longest time and decided to buy a new one and since I was at a Kiko store, I picked it up from there.

My Experience with Kiko Milano Face 105 Flat Foundation Brush:

The brush comes in a re-sealable plastic case. There is a silver cardboard piece which has all the information. The package is very basic. Inside the sachet, there is the Flat Foundation Brush. The brush has a cap and I prefer to keep this safe as it doesn’t damage the bristles. The brush is almost 15cm in length and is black in color with cream synthetic bristles. The bottom half of the brush is matte and the top half is glossy. The size of the brush is great and the ergonomic design makes it easy to hold during the application.

The bristles are densely packed and there are a lot of bristles. The bristles are extremely soft and smooth. They do not cause any irritation on the face. It feels very feather-like while usage. The product can be used for high coverage. The product can be used for both fluid and compact foundation, which is great. The brush picks up the compact powder foundation very well without any issues. The brush is very easy to use and the pointy end makes it easier to use at the corners of the nose or under the eyes. The bristles feel soft even near the eye area and I absolutely love the feel when I use it.

The brush provides streak-free application but it doesn’t blend the foundation properly onto the skin. There are no issues when using the powder ones. I see this issue especially when I need to use thick foundations; it takes forever for an even application. I have to end up using a beauty blender to remove the excess foundation left over by the brush. It doesn’t provide an even finish when you want to go for heavy coverage. For daily, normal coverage, there are no issues. I use the brush daily when I wear minimal makeup but for any outings, I still prefer my beauty blender or oval brush. There is no fallout from the product and it is also very easy to clean. With soap and oil, it washes away all the residue completely without any issues. It also retains the shape back pretty quickly.

Kiko Milano Face 105 Flat Foundation Brush Review Close up

Overall, it is not a must-have product. It is just another foundation brush and you can always prefer a beauty blender over this. So, summing up:
