My Experience with Kleancolor Tea Rose Femme Lipstick:
The packaging of the lipstick is average. The brand has given a feminine curvy shape to the lipstick tube, but at the same time, it looks flimsy. The only thing that I liked about this lipstick packaging is its color-coded body that helps to easily spot the shade from makeup stash during rush hours. The clear cap helps to see the lipstick shade from outside only. I store my lipsticks upside down as they have shade details at the base, but since this lipstick has a color-coded top, I do not need it to place it this upside down.
The cap fits tightly and makes it travel friendly. A part of the lipstick bullet remains outside the tube, hence I need to be a little careful while placing the cap, else it may damage the bullet. One more thing that I do not like about the packaging of all Kleancolor lipsticks is that the lipstick bullet gets detached from the base and sticks to the cap. As I have got these online, almost the entire collection had the same problem and all lipsticks have damaged tips. Overall, I am not a fan of the packaging as it has some flaws.
The shade “Tea Rose” is my favorite amongst the entire collection of Kleancolor Femme Lipsticks that I own. It is a soft n*de pink shade that looks lovely on the lips.
I love such subtle shades for everyday use. This is a pretty shade to be worn to college or work. I love to carry this lip color with heavy smokey eye look. This is definitely a gorgeous shade for fair to medium skin tones. The lipstick has average pigmentation. It requires 3-4 swipes to make the color intense and opaque looking. The color is easily buildable and does not crease at all even upon layering. The lipstick has a very mild candy fragrance that is barely noticeable.
The texture of the lipstick is lovely. It is very smooth and creamy. Therefore, it glides effortlessly on the lips without any tugging or pulling of the lips. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. The lipstick does not give that sticky or waxy feel to the lips. The formula is slightly moisturizing ajd hence the lips do not feel dry with this lipstick. Though, it does not provide any hydration to the lips, but still, feels kind of moisturizing to the lips. The lipstick sets to a beautiful satiny finish. The lip color never highlights the dry patches of the lips. The lipstick does not cause any heavy smudging. Being a crème lipstick, it has the tendency to transfer easily.
Now comes the saddest part, the lipstick has a very low staying power. It hardly stays for 3 hours or so on my lips with a little fading. It does not survive even light meals and fades away completely. The color settles into the fine lines of the lips and highlights the dry patches once the color gets ripped off.
