A few months ago I had picked up two shades from the L.A Girl Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick range, called Gossip and Manic. I love them so much that I decided to pick up a few more. So, here is the review of the shade Snuggle; the review of the shade Bite Me will be up soon.

Product Description:
Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick comes in 26 bold shades that are rich in pigment and filled with moisture. With added shea butter to hydrate lips and a soft, smooth application, your lips will feel as gorgeous as they look!
How to Use:
Starting at center of lips, apply lip color in a side to side motion to upper and lower lips. Re-apply as desired.
My Experience with L.A. Girl Snuggle Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick:
Packaging:
The lipstick comes in a long black packaging with a color indicated cap. This color-coded packaging makes it easy to identify the lipstick from the stash. It is also quite safe to carry around. If you take a look at the quantity provided, this lipstick seems like good value for money. Also, there is a small pan at the bottom of the lipstick which provides extra lipstick.
Shade:
There are total 26 shades in this range. ‘Snuggle’ is the most beautiful n*de shade that I have ever used. It is actually a very pretty, natural-looking light brownish pink shade that looks perfect. It is a beautiful daily wear n*de shade for my medium olive skin tone. It looks so beautiful and goes with any heavy eye makeup. I absolutely love how this shade looks on me. It has a warm tone that provides a very natural finish. Also, the shade is well pigmented and only two swipes are required for the true color to show up. It can easily hide pigmented lips.
Texture and quality:
The lipstick has a smooth and soft texture that glides easily on the lips and provides an even application. Also, layering doesn’t make it heavy on the lips. The formula feels quite comfortable. It doesn’t contain any shimmers and it has a perfect velvety matte finish that looks so amazing. Its non-drying matte texture keeps lips soft and moisturised. It never looks patchy and never highlights dry patches.
But after a few hours or after lunch, the lipstick feels a little dry on the lips. This problem can be solved easily with a balm or you can reapply the lipstick. Reapplication never makes it heavy. It works as a good matte lipstick. It doesn’t transfer or smudge a lot. Also, it never settles down into the fine lines and doesn’t crease. I totally love the quality of this lipstick. The finish appears so fresh and smooth on the lips.
Staying Power:
Since this is a very light shade, it cannot really last long. Still, it stays for around 5-6 hours on the lips without any meal. It cannot survive a meal; in fact, it starts to fade after a meal. It can survive light snacks, though. Removal of this lipstick is quite easy.
Overall:
I am totally obsessed with this beautiful n*de shade and it has become my go-to shade. I just love its texture and finish on my lips.
