I have picked up two shades from the super cute Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon range, and today, I’m going to share my views on the shade ’02 Red Stop’. Let’s get into the review!

My Experience with Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon 02 Red Stop:

Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon looks exactly like a crayon with a colour-coded paper on the body. It has a nice black cap. The cap is sturdy and holds up tight. The packing is simple yet attractive.

Each crayon comes with a dual sharpener, which works smoothly, and I can use the smaller one for other products as well. Though this pencil needs to be sharpened, there is less wastage during the process. I feel it is a great buy for this price.

The shade I chose is ’02 Red Stop’. Though the name is ‘Red Stop’, it is a beautiful orangish red shade. In a single swipe, it is more of an orange lip color but with two swipes, it looks more subtle red with orange undertones. I love wearing such reds on my medium skin tone, and such red shades would flatter all skin tones as well. It looks so bold on the lips and is certainly the perfect shade for a party look.

It requires two strokes to get that perfect color payoff on the lips. This shade doesn’t contain any shimmers. It hides lip pigmentation as well.

This lip crayon has a soft, smooth texture that glides easily on the lips, but it feels slightly waxy as well. Yet, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable on the lips. It feels light and never looks patchy. I can easily layer it up. This crayon has a beautiful non-drying creamy matte finish, which I really like. It settles into a smooth, even texture which keeps the lips soft for long. The formula provides a decent amount of hydration to the lips and never makes them dry. Since this is not a completely matte range, it does transfer, but the color still stays on the lips nicely and doesn’t create any mess around the lips. It is quite easy to draw a perfect lip line with this crayon due to its pointed tip. Also, it doesn’t have any noticeable smell to it.

I wasn’t expecting it to be a long-lasting lipstick, but it lasts for around 5-6 hours nicely. However, it doesn’t settle into fine lines nor does it creases. Hence, the color is easy to remove.

Overall, I really like this range; especially, this is one of my favorite shades. It looks so beautiful and bright on me. These crayons might not be great but are good enough for the price you pay.

I won’t repurchase this shade, but I’m totally recommending this. This range offers shades for all skin tones. At this price, one must give it a try.
