Hi IMBB,
I have got to attend a wedding in 2 weeks. I have never worn any lipsticks previously in my life. Please suggest which colour of lipstick goes well with midnight blue anarkali (preferably in Lakme and street wear) . It is a day-time wedding. I’m not going heavy with eye-make-up. I’m dusky in complexion and have very dry lips. Also suggest a lip balm which can be worn underneath the lipstick 🙂

Prep your face and apply a good primer.Apply a foundation of your skin tone and conceal any dark circles and blemishes.Apply a bronzer which suits your skin on your cheekbones.And now comes lipstick.I suggest tangerine shot by elle 18.This shade will instantly brighten up your face.Its very moisturising too.If you want your lips to be matte then dab a little bit of baby powder.Dabbing baby powder will not affect its moisturising properties.Usually midnight blue smokey eyes like katrina kaif’s eyes from bang bang song and nude lips goes well with midnight blue dress but since your going easy with eyes this look i mentioned above will look good.

Lakme’s Satin Enrich 140 – its a deep pink shade with blue undertones, it brightens up my face (I am dusky as well). Other than Lakme, there is a deep pink in the Colorbar Velvet Matte range called ‘Sultry Pink’ which suits dusky skin beautifully.
