L’Oreal recently launched the gel crayon range in India and there are many beautiful shades in this collection. I picked two gorgeous colors – Turquoise Vibes and Plum Avenue. In this review, I will share my views on “Turquoise Vibes.”

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Infallible Gel Crayon Eyeliner 112 Turquoise Vibes:
Packaging: The liner comes in a nice and long black pencil crayon with a colour-coded cap. It is a sharpenable pencil but L’Oreal should have provided a sharpener with it too. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.
Shade and Pigmentation: This is a bright turquoise shade that will bring a colorful vibe to your makeup. However, I personally prefer jewel-toned pencils a lot more and would have loved it if it had a shimmery hint in it. It makes your eyes pop and also makes them appear bright. If you want to create a bright look, this pencil will be amazing. The pigmentation is intense. A single swipe gives full color.
Texture and Quality: The eyeliner has a super soft and creamy texture which glides like a dream on the eyes without any tug or pull. It can be applied smoothly on the waterline without any tugging. It never looks patchy or dry and neither does it irritate the eyes. It takes some time to dry. So, if you want to smudge it soon after application to create a smudged, smokey look, you can totally do that, but once it is dry, it does not smudge at all, but it never looks too matte either. It has a velvety, silky finish which looks incredible. It is also waterproof and thus stays in place throughout the day. It does not look faded over time. You can create any type of line with this pencil. Bold lines or sharp wings- this pencil allows you to do both with perfection.
Staying Power: The eyeliner lasts super long, i.e. over 8-9 hours without being messy and it looks perfect and does not lose the velvety lustre even by the end of the day. It never settles into fine lines and does not fade from the inner corner. You must use a good waterproof makeup remover t get rid of this product from the eyes. You can use micellar water to remove it completely with care.
Overall, this is a nice eye pencil. I would have been happier if it was jewel toned.
