L’Oreal Paris has recently launched few new liquid eye shadows and I picked a gorgeous shade from that range of L’Oreal Infallible Paints Eye shadow. Now, let’s get into the details of the shade “Navy Yard”.

How to Use:
Start on a clean eye. Product can be applied directly with applicator or finger tips to achieve the desired look. Wear alone or blend with other shades. When layering multiple colors, wait for the first color to set before applying the second.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Infallible Paints Eye Shadow 304 Navy Yard:
Paint eye shadow comes in a dual ended clear plastic tube and both sides have two different shades. Due to its clear packaging, it’s easy to identify and it’s a two-in-one product. Both the sides have a wand applicator sponge, which makes the application easier and the wand is quite long to hold perfectly. Tube is totally safe to carry around as well.
Now, on one side it has a deep navy blue shade, while the other side contains a pearly baby pink shade. I really like the combination of this tube, as pink goes so well with blue and absolutely looks gorgeous on all skin tones. This dark navy blue shade also contains some blue shimmers in it that makes it more gorgeous and perfectly reflects on the eyes. Also, the pink shade contains shimmer too and that’s why it is a perfect highlighting shade. Both the shades are highly pigmented when I apply it on the eyes, but when I blend the shade, it looks lighter and I need to build up the color to get that actual deep blue shade. You can’t get the perfect result with single application. But still, it is well pigmented. I feel that pink is more pigmented even after blending. But, you can easily work with these shades and can do a gorgeous eye look.
This is a liquid creamy shadow that has buttery soft texture and the shades blend so smoothly on the eyes. It gets evenly spread on the lid, but it works better with finger than brush. I faced some difficulties to blend the shades with brush. With brush, it doesn’t look that even, but if I dab the product with finger, then it looks so smooth and even. Dabbing with flat application brush works little better and I can use it with powder shadow too. It works well and feels extremely light on lid. It never feels patchy or dry and it takes its time to dry out completely, so I can blend it properly and once it settles down into a nice texture, it doesn’t smudge or transfer at all. It is a waterproof shadow too. Shimmers also look so flawless on eyes and give a perfect shiny finish to it.
Shadows last quite long on eyes and never look messy. I have quite normal eye lid and shadows always stay long on me. So, according to that, it lasted around 6-7 hours perfectly and never settled in fine lines or crease at all. But, if you have oily lid, then you can use a primer underneath it. Also, the shimmer doesn’t spread and I can remove it with a good removal wipes without any stain.
Overall, this is definitely a new formula and super easy to use. It is nice for beginners, because they can apply it easily and it gives beautiful shiny sheen to the eyes. Now, I can also do some creative eye makeup with these shades and even I can use it as an eye liner too. Also, this range has so many beautiful shades that I love mostly. But, it is bit expensive product for only two shades.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Infallible Paints Eye Shadow 304 Navy Yard:
- Brush can’t give that even pigmented result. Best to use with fingers.
- Need to build up the shades for best result.
- Expensive.
