After reviewing the mask which I fell for, I want to review the shampoo from the same range.I must say when I used the shampoo alone, I was aghast! I was like OMG so much of money has gone down the drain but when I used the mask and this shampoo the mask primarily overshadowed the shampoo and the mask or both together worked mirculously for giving me soft shiny hair for two days until it turned greasy.

I also have primsoe serum from them to review which will take longer to review since I want to test it out in many hair conditions..this shampoo comes in a regular L’Oreal professional range bottles and is quite expensive for a shampoo. The earlier L’Oreal shampoos I have used gave me massive hair fall but post pregnancy I have always had hairfall, so I cannot blame anything on this shampoo. My current hair status is highlighted and smoothed, not rebonded and original hair are dry and wavy. Anyway this is my second session with hair smoothening but first with highlights so the stylist for my hair gave me this one to repair hair damage which might eventually happen due to the highlights.

The shampoo lathers below average and if you wait for your hair to be greasy this shampoo, will need to be used at least twice to get clean hair. This will not make your hair bounce with a squeaky clean feel at all.It weighs down hair big time and you can even feel the greasy or sticky feel post wash if you use only this shampoo.I am very surprised how it leave my hair sticky. This will work for very rebellious hair and frizz which actually needs to be tamed down but for normal hair, I did not notice any softness or clean feel but lot of sticky weighed down feel.

On greasy or oily hair this will simply not work even if you use the entire bottle 😛 too expensive for that. Anyway, if you shampoo every alternate day and need some repairing shampoo, then try this. If you oil your hair, then please shampoo with another regular clean feel shampoo and then use this and then the mask.

Contrary to this, when used with the mask, hair feel awesome soft and more clean.Hence this shampoo alone is pure waste of money for me.Mask too works well when used with this shampoo otherwise may not give similar results.Overall very voluminous or chemically treated hair or very frizzy curls can try this, otherwise this shampoo alone without mask is a sticky disaster.

  1. Oh no! *nababana* I too find that there are not too many shampoos which function well without a corresponding conditioner, especially for frizzy hair like mine.

  2. i also didn’t like the shampoo at all… i use masque from this range with other shampoo’s from loreal professional…but this one is just not for me. 🙁
