I realized today why Rati loves the “Bubbly Nude” shade of lipstick. Lotus Herbals already has a “Bubbly Nude”  in the Floralstay range I believe but I don’t own a single one of that. BUt now, after their PURESTAY Range came out, I want to back and get so many Lotus Herbals products they already have for a long time now. Read on to see a great nude lipstick and gloss, and probably my favorite and most face-brightening lipstick in a cherry shade. 🙂

Bubbly nude is a the perfect nude lipstick for our skin tones, why I say this is because unlike those pale, cream lippies we see on youtube, this one is a perfect light brown which enhances the natural look of the face at the same time shaping up the lips and not washing out . This lipstick is a very soft brown which will be great for all skin tones,at the same time, will never wash us out.The lipstick is a matte with some soft gold shimmer which is not much visible.It sets and goes matte and does not budge, that is the USP of these lippies, they dont budge and stay as long as you want them to.

Nude love is again a great gloss, its a soft nude brown with gold shimmer, The whole combination will make any one go weak in their knees, we all need a nude gloss, alone or on top of any lippy. The gloss texture is something you must have already seen, its a regular gloss with a great color. I can see myself using it often , even though I am a lipstick person. The gloss has average staying power alone and on the lipstick, it goes on well but needs touch ups often, owing to its color, over all, its a gloss color we all need.

Cherry on top, was an instant love for me, Why I say this is because it is the right mix of fuchsia and pink which brightens my face up immediately. This is a pure matte, which I love, I line my lips with a pink, apply this and it sets to perfection, this will not stain at all and last you the whole day long. The thing that surprises me is that though they set, they dont dry out my lips at all, unlike the Lakme mattes do. This one feels very light and easy and is a perfect base for glosses.

Needless to say, I love the packaging, very thoughtfully made. The lipsticks are SPF 20 as well! The glosses are huge and the lippies set to perfection. The texture of the lippies feels matte and may need a harder swipe, they do glide with the warmth of the swipe, but they are in no way creamy, they are a little hard since they are made to set on your lips and not dry you out and last whole day long. This is my obvious choice for outings when I know I cant reapply lipsticks. I love this color!

Last Word:

The three shades are must-haves. The perfect nude lipstick for Indian skin tones, the nude gloss we all need , and a bright wearable pink that brightens a dull face, any day my favorites! I will be checking out the “bubbly nude” from their previous range as well. 🙂 I do believe, for the cost, the lipstick could have been creamier to apply but then the staying power compensates for everything else.
