Facial kits are a quick way to dazzle your skin, and as you might be aware, I love experimenting with them. Lotus Herbals recently came up with this new facial kit and I couldn’t resist myself from buying this. So, after 2 uses, I am reviewing Lotus Herbals Radiant Platinum Cellular Anti-Ageing Facial Kit ( Pheww! That’s quite long)!

Product Description:

Packaging:

This facial kit comes in a silver cardboard box which encloses the four sachets. All the details are printed in attractive fonts. The packaging is very elegant and travel-friendly.

There are four products in big sachets namely:

1. Radiant Platinum Cleaning Scrub
2. Radiant Platinum Activator
3. Radiant Platinum Massage cream with Platinum Colloidal
4. Radiant Platinum Mask

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Radiant Platinum Cellular Anti-Ageing Facial Kit:

Radiant Platinum Cleaning Scrub:

The cleansing scrub has a texture intermediate to that of a liquid cleanser and a scrub, so the exfoliating action isn’t harsh. The cleansing and scrubbing is mild and doesn’t remove deeply rooted gunk. However, it will remove surface impurities and prep the skin for next steps.

Radiant Platinum Activator:

The Platinum Activator claims to be enriched with the goodness of colloidal Platinum. It is a substitute of gel available in the other kits. It is very lightweight and gets absorbed pretty quickly. But I feel the consistency is not ideal for massage since it vanishes into skin soon.

Radiant Platinum Massage cream:

The texture of the cream is rich and apt for a relaxing massage. It is not very heavy or greasy but makes skin soft and supple.

Radiant Platinum Mask:

The face pack is white in texture and spreads well. It dries in 10 minutes but doesn’t feel very stretchy. On washing, you can see refreshed, bright skin.

One aspect that bugs me is the peculiar fragrance of all the components of this kit which reminds me of medicated ointments. I feel a facial kit should boast of a relaxing aroma, and not transport to a distasteful medical world. The effects are short lived as I can hardly see any radiance in my skin the next day. I am not impressed with this kit, and I feel there are loads of better options to choose from.

• Attractive, travel-friendly packaging
• Skin feels bright
• Cream & mask work well

Cons of Lotus Herbals Radiant Platinum Cellular Anti-Ageing Facial Kit:

• Not economic for 1-2 uses
• Peculiar medicated smell
• Short lived effects
• Scrub and activator are not impressive

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Lotus Herbals Radiant Platinum Cellular Anti-Ageing Facial Kit?
No. This kit couldn’t impress me.
