MAC Avenue Fluidline Review, Swatch, FOTD

Avenue is a part of MAC Me Over Collection. It is a charcoal brown gel liner with golden flecks in it. When I saw this in the jar, I expected it to be a bright black pop of color with golden flecks in it. But I am slightly disappointed that it is not a super black liner as it looks in the pot. It is softer brownish black with very pretty gold flecks in it. Infact, the gold flecks stay all day long , they show on the lids and add a little twinkle to your eyes. I have grown to like this liner but I think I was expecting more intensity of color from this.
But since it is a fluidline, it does not disappoint in any manner.
- It glides on your lids like a dream.
- Stays all day long without smudging , flaking or smearing.
- Unlike other fluidlines, I suggest that you don’t wear this on waterline. The gold flecks are super smooth when applied on outer part of the eye but they kinda bother when applied on waterline.
- You can use this color all over the lid as a base for smokey eye.
- Avenue is a great shade for everyday wear as well. As the gold flecks are not over the top and the shade is a softer version of black. This never ever looks harsh or too strong on lids.
- Never ever irritated my eye.
- It takes almost 5-7 seconds to dry and then it sets for all day long.

MAC Avenue Fluidline is a part of MAC Me Over Collection. It has already been launched in US but I am not sure when will it launch here in India.
It is not a must have but it is pretty liner to have in your collection. For a similar effect you can mix your brown and black gel liner at the back of your hand, apply it on lids and dab a shimmery back eyeshadow on top of it. You can also apply some gold dust (Inglot Body Sparkles # 56) while the liner is still wet and you may achieve a similar effect. 🙂

kryolan is the baap of all make up and cheaper too … pick up their brushes for sure !!! by any chance are you talking the kryolan shop in lokhandwala ? and their face powders … but just be careful of your shade selection … since any place that sells kryolan doesnt have very well educated sales staff …
they are very good professional products parita. their bases were something that I have used and they have been pretty good. The only thing i am not sure about are the ingredients . Since those are professional products the pigments are quite strong in their products and that’s not somethinG i am too comfortable using on day to day basis.

@Janhavi, yeah the same shop but i dont think its kryolan shop more like a beaut center where they sell kryolan as well 🙂 I am just eyeing their eyeliner sealer..have heard a lot abt it and its oil control powder for my oily skin and matt finish.. 🙂

they are all fake. made in china hongkokng and getting imported here. i saw huuuuuuuuuuuuggee stalls of fake mac in bangkok also. that was toh like black market adda. 😛

hey tina..if in MAC go for Select cover up..i recently got and loving it! It gives very natural covcerage and can be used for spot concealing too 🙂

Rati Di :thanks: :thanks: ….I have uneven skin tone……so neeed a conceler that can hide my light blemishes too….have a neutral skin type….it tends to be dry after bath, once i apply my lotus day cream moisturizer…it tends to be oily at tyms….so really cant say what king of skin type i have……its oily of dry oy neutral..
Moreover i have quite a bit darker circles aroud d eyes….so luking for a conceler basically to hide that….i m not going to use it on a regular basis…

I guess main apne Maybelline Ultra Liner Dark Brown liner se kaam chala loongi……..I love brown liners these days. 🙂 Mac is too expensive na 😥 ……..so till something is really unique like the siahi liner, I plan to stay away.
