Makeup Revolution Cover and Conceal Palette and my Mega GOSF Beauty Haul!
Hello Senoritas!! How are you all? I hope all well and in the best of health and wealth.
Last week, given the GOSF, most of us went on a crazy shopping spree, and suddenly, IMBB and our very own Madam Gupshup, was flooded with the infectious mood of the festival. Astonishing, that we all were sitting at our respective homes, in different cities, and yet our love for makeup and beauty had us all celebrating, laughing and sharing deals and our crazy shopping together, that day. Special mention; ahem, ahem, I, of course, and Somya, and Priyaa. All three of us literally went on a crazy shopping spree, that anyone who had witnessed our GOSF 2014 forum, can vouch for. The review of the day is the Makeup Revolution Cover and Conceal Palette in shade “Light to Medium.”
Price/Packaging/Ingredients/Description:
Makeup Revolution Cover and Conceal Palette, comes in a rectangular, black colored cardboard box, which opens to reveal a sleek and glossy palette within. The packaging is very elegant and stylish, the only problem is, given that it is so glossy, it is prone to fingerprints which smear all over when you use the palette or even hold it. It contains an in-built mirror. I love the way it looks. It is a budget brand, but they have not given us cheap or flimsy packaging. It is sturdy, good looking and travel friendly. Take a look:

Rs. 1200/- I got this for 600, including COD charges. Given the quality, it is even worth 1200. 😀
My Experience with Makeup Revolution Cover and Conceal Palette:
It would be suffice to say, that this is by far the best concealer that I have used, and trust me, I have used many, if not all.
Shades: All the shades are perfect for concealing, highlighting and natural shade of bronzing even. This palette, specially has shades which have perfect tones for Indian complexion. You can mix and match the shades too. Just amazing!
Texture: These are the creamiest concealers that I have come across. I have used the Colorbar ones and Lakme ones, and then telling you this. It is dreamy creamy, and spreads so evenly that you won’t even need to set with a powder, though do that on a precautionary basis. In spite of the creamy texture, it does not make the skin oily at all!! That means, when you apply, due to the creaminess, it will not cling to dry patches or make you uncomfortable. Also, it won’t make your skin oily. It will just apply like a second skin.
Application: I apply my concealers with brush, though I tried to apply this with fingers too. It works fine with both the methods of application.
Coverage: To be honest, I don’t have dark circles, just a bit of natural darkness below the eye area. However, courtesy my oily skin, I do have a bit of freckles and acne marks here and there. It covered them completely. So much so, that a simple bb cream, and this concealer gave my skin a luminous and clear, natural finish. Though I would say, that on layering it up, it will cover heavy dark circles too. The coverage is medium to heavy, depending upon the quantity you use.
Longevity: It stayed on me, without creasing or fading, for a whole day out, and that speaks a lot, for a concealer that comes at such an affordable price.

- Shades are apt for Indian skin tone.
- Packaging is sleek and travel friendly, includes a mirror.
- Easily available online.
- Shades can be mixed and matched, not just for concealing, but also for highlighting and a bit of natural flush of bronzing.
- Can be applied easily with fingers/brush.
- Stays for a whole day without creasing or fading.
- Creamy texture. Does not cling to dry patches, does not make skin oily.
- Gives excellent coverage.
Cons of Makeup Revolution Cover and Conceal Palette:
- I think that more portals should start selling this awesome brand.
- Glossy packaging is prone to finger prints.
IMBB Rating and Recommendation:
5/5. No qualms about buying this one. I am head over heels in love with this one. Hell, yeah! I will recommend and though this one is going to last me for quite some time, I shall repurchase as soon as I get my hands on another one.

Lol I think I am the only one who resisted shopping during GOSF. I am on shopping ban for 2 months and still going strong. 😀 I like the packaging of palette but sadly it contains parabens which is a very big drawback for me.

This looks great but can someone please tell Me which of these shades can be used as highlighter. And is it good to buy an entire pallete with all similar shades. Need some more advice on its use.
Hi Apurva!! You can use the light shades for highlighting your browbone, cheek bone etc, in a natural way. Similarly you can mix and match and do a bit of contouring with the dark shades. 🙂

Jabong is the official distributer of Makeup Revolution in India Tanya 🙂 In fact, they still have discounts on the brand’s products. 🙂 The rest I got from Snapdeal, Kaya Store and Fabbag. 🙂 They all had had awesome GOSF deals going at that time with around 25 to 50% off on the products. 🙂 So all my patience and savings was worth it. 🙂

Hey kads, do these concealer work with liquid foundations like Mac? Or any? I wanted to get it for sis but she wanna confirm if it works wid liquid ones too? Thanx in advance 🙂
Yup Di!! I have used it with Lotus ecostay foundation, which has more liquid and cream consistency, and with Seasoul cc cream, which has mousse consistency, and so far it has worked brilliantly with both. 🙂 It settles down like second skin, on me at least. I have oily skin and most of the products seem to slip away by the end of the day, but this doesn’t. 🙂
