My Experience with Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush Lavish Mauve:
Maxfactor has been there from the beginning of time. I generally like Maxfactor products. Recently, they revamped as well as released a few new products. I got their Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush in the shade Lavish Mauve. Unfortunately, I could not try and swatch the product before getting it.
The packaging is quite pretty. It does not come with a brush or a mirror. I like the sturdy packaging and the transparent lid which closes tightly hence making it travel-friendly. The product concaves outwards and appears like those baked shadows. The texture of the blush is very smooth. The powder does not feel chalky and blends well on application. I don’t know why it is called ‘Creme Puff Blush’, though. The word “crème” can mislead buyers since the product is powder-based and not a cream blush.
The shade Lavish Mauve is more of a cameo pink or pale pink colour. I do not see a noticeable shade of mauve in it as the name of the shade actually Lavish Mauve. Nevertheless, it is a very pretty shade of pink. On application, it gives a natural and well-blended look. The pigmentation is something we should talk about now.
On the first swatch, it does not really show any color. On multiple swipes, I finally see the colour deposit. Considering it’s such a pretty shade and good textured as well, there is no reason why it should lack pigmentation. That was quite disappointing! The only up-side to this would be that you don’t have to be very careful while applying the blush, or be worried that you would go over the top. Trust me, you don’t. 😉
The shade Lavish Mauve is quite wearable and gives a natural, healthy look. I would recommend this shade for fair to medium skin tones and especially for day-wear. The quantity is a lot, especially for the price. The texture and quality are acceptable considering the price. If you like a subtle blush, then you can try this one.

Cons of Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush Lavish Mauve:
Needs multiple swipes
More of a pinkish shade than mauve; the name could be misleading
Will not show up well on darker skin tones
No brush or mirror provided
IMBB Rating: 3/5
