The lip balms have been launched in four beautiful shades. Today’s review is all about the shade “Striking Orange”. Keep reading to know more about it.

My Experience with Maybelline Baby Lips Bright Out Loud- Striking Orange:

I am already obsessed with Maybelline Baby Lips. So, the new launches in their collection excites me so much. This new collection called as “Bright out loud” comes in bright and vibrant color-coded plastic tubes. This lip balm comes in a bright orange colored plastic tube, that bears funky yellow fonts on it. It bears the brand’s tagline and range name on it like other baby lips. There is the sticker at the base of the lip balm tube, indicating the shade name. Though, I do not need to check the names from the base, as their bodies are already color-coded. The long and slender plastic tube fits anywhere in my makeup pouch and it is very easy to carry.

It can easily be carried in my pocket also. Once you open the cap, you will see the beautiful orange colored lip balm inside. It has the regular twist up mechanism, that works pretty smooth. The lip balm bullet is round in shape and has a slanted tip for precised application. The cap of the lip balm tube fits tightly making an audible click sound and makes it fit for travel purposes. Overall, the packaging is absolutely lovely and flawless.

Talking about the shade “Striking Orange”. It is a vibrant orange colored lip balm, that is totally devoid of any kind of sheen or shimmers in it. The shade looks gorgeous on the lips. The pigmentation of the lip balm is semi opaque and easily buildable. The color looks so pretty on the lips.

I have mild pigmentation on my lips and it looks great on my lips too covering all the pigmentation. It almost looks like a sheer lipstick. It instantly brightens up my dull face. It has very faint fragrance that is non bothering and barely noticeable.

The texture of the lip balm is great. It is very smooth and creamy. Hence, it glides like a dream on the lips. The lip balm looks nice and juicy on the lips. It has menthol extract, that gives an instant cooling and soothing sensation to the lips. These lip balms are non sticky and feels comfortable on the lips. The lip balm comes with SPF-13 that helps to keep the lips protected from harsh sunrays and makes this lip balm fit to be used under the sun. It perfectly heals my dry and chapped lips. I have been facing seriously dry lip issues these days, as the weather is changing and my skin needs extra care and nourishment. This lip balm does its job very well. My lips stays moisturized and hydrated for pretty long time after using this lip balm.

The lasting power of the lip balm is somewhere around 5 hours on my lips. In the mean time, it looses its glossy sheen but the color stays on my lips all the time. My lips feel kind of hydrated with this lip balm. A hint of orange stays on my lips for a longer period of time. But, it definitely requires reapplication after a full meal.

Overall, this is a good lip balm that offers good color pay off and moisturizes the lips well.
