My Take on Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow – Copper Chic:
It is a very neutral, earthy-toned palette with warm colours great for special occasions.
Colour: There are 4 colours in this palette. The first shade is a champagne with tinge of pink colour which can be used as a base or a highlight shade. Then comes a copper orange shade. The third shade is a bronze gold mix and finally a dark chocolate brown shade, ideal to apply on the crease.
Texture: All these shades are smooth and soft in texture and easily glides on your eyes. The colour flows in an even manner and is also easily blendable.
Finish: All these shades have a frosty and shimmery touch to them. I prefer to have at least one matte in this quad and my personal choice would have been the dark brown shade.
Pigmentation and Coverage: All the shades are well pigmented and you get the exact look of the palette on your eyes. A single stroke gives enough coverage and then can be build upon.
Staying Power: They have a very good staying power. I have worn these for 5 to 6 hours with a primer and without primer. They stayed really well on my eyes without any fading or creasing.
Packaging: The packing looks cute, a rectangle shaped box with a black base and transparent lid. There is a sponge applicator with dual tips, but I don’t find it to be very helpful when it comes to the blending part. It is only good for depositing colours on certain specific areas. The colours can be easily identified through the lid, but I am not at all impressed with the packing. It is very flimsy, every time I try to open the lid it comes off in my hand making it less travel friendly. There is also a lot of fallout inside the palette making it very messy.
Overall, these are lovely shades for all skin tones especially for Indian skin. You can mix and match the shades accordingly to create a unique look. I have created certain looks with these shades.
Pros of Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow – Copper Chic:

Cons of Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow – Copper Chic:
- All shimmery shades, could have included one or two mattes.
- Not travel friendly due to flimsy packing.

IMBB Rating:
4.3/5, I would recommend this palette for everyone to wear for any festive occasions.
