The Give Me Gold quad also goes by the name Copper Brown, I really don’t know why. Every site has it named either one of those two. It has four different shades; Light Champagne, Gold, Copper and Brown. All of these colors have a satin finish with slight shimmer. The pigmentation is really good, the colors are easy to work with and blend really well. This is by far one of my favorite drugstore eyeshadow quads:)

Diamond Glow

The packing isn’t great and is sort of flimsy. You can’t carry this eyeshadow quad around with you all the time which is slightly disappointing considering how pretty the eyeshadow colors are. At the back of the palette, there is an illustration showing the application of the eyeshadows. I really didn’t follow it, but its pretty good for beginners.

Dual tip

This quad comes with a sponge applicator, thick on one side for eyelid application and thin on the other side for inner corners of the eyes. I usually never use these palette sponge applicators, but this one is pretty good.

Eyeshadow Applicator

The colors from left to right without primer:

Maybelline quad

1- A beautiful champagne white color with slight shimmer. Can be used as a highlighter and near the tear ducts. Slight fallout during application.

2- A satin gold color that can be used over the eyelid or even as a highlighter.

3- This eyeshadow is my favorite one from this quad. Satin Copper with slight shimmer. It is so pretty and looks great on the eyelids.

4- Brown with slight shimmer. This shade can be used to create a smokey eye look. Slight fallout during application.

This is how it looks with primer on my eyelid in natural light.

Rs. 375

Pros of Maybelline Eye Studio Give Me Gold Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow:

  • Well pigmented (primer isn’t really necessary) and easy to blend.
  • Doesn’t crease for more than 3 hours.
  • Sponge applicator in this palette is pretty good.
  • Good quantity for the price. (2.5g for Rs 375 not bad!).

Cons of Maybelline Eye Studio Give Me Gold Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow:

  • Slight fallout in the champagne, white and brown shades.
  • Flimsy packaging.

  1. Nice review :thanks:
Such pretty colours   Even I was thinking about getting one of these palettes. But it seemed too much for just 4 colours especially since I was beginner. Maybe I’ll buy one of these when I’m actually proficient in eyeshadow application 😀 😀

    1. Thanks, love. The shimmer is more visible only in the champagne white color, basically for highlighting the browbone or the tear duct area. The rest are not that shimmery! 🙂

I LOVE the pink shade from that palette. How’s the black in that palette? Coz I wanna get it. Still in two minds.

      1. I have the gray-pink one too…Got is only for the black, I might hit pan on that one soon..the black is gorgeous over a primer but otherwise not that good, some fall out too….but once done it looks really pretty..

  6. thats lovely i have this and its my fav product from maybelline…..i even swirl the brush all over the pallete and use it as highlighter for my cheeks gives a lovely glow better than the highlighter i have

    1. yea, me doing same-to-same…the first shimmery color works as a superb highlighter color too..and because of some beige color in it, it works well with my skin tone, looks pretty natural if used judiciously… 😉 😉
