The waterproof version of this mascara was reviewed on IMBB long ago. I bought the “washable” variant many months ago and I have been using it for the last 3-4 months. I recently realized that the review is not up yet in IMBB, so today, I will talking about this product and review it for all of you.

My Experience with Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara Washable:

The mascara came in a regular cardboard packaging with the entire product-related information printed on the backside of this packaging. I threw away the packaging on the very first day. The mascara comes in a beautiful, metallic tube packaging. The tube is glossy black in the middle with detailing in beautiful rose gold fonts. The bottom end has a glossy pink finish. The top end, which is the twist-open cap and wand is red in color. Overall the mascara looks colorful and beautiful.

The wand of this mascara is different from other regular applicators. It looks like a long, round rubber comb. The bristles are made of rubber and are pretty spiky. The brand claims that this bristles are great for adding volume and pushing up the lash. The applicator being long, allows mascara application in most of the lashes at the same time.

This mascara has jet black color. It makes the lashes far more prominent and visible. Even when I do not get any time to do eye makeup, I pick the mascara instead of the kajal. Visible lashes make all the difference in your look.

In terms of texture, the mascara is slightly thicker and also creamy. I find it adding length over volume. When I add two layers, it gets clumpy and then I need to use another mascara wand to brush everything out. I think a wand with denser bristles would fix the issue. I find it difficult to apply the mascara on the lower lashes; however, when I use a separate wand, the mascara coats the lashes well.

It has a soft, gel-like, creamy texture and does not become flaky after it dries. It never irritates the lashes either. It stays on for 5-6 hours if you do not tear up and gets easily removed with any water or oil-based makeup remover.

• Lasts pretty long.

Cons of Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara Washable:

• With second coat, the mascara becomes clumpy.
• Applicator should have been a little more denser.
• Applying on lower lashes can be tough.
• Does not add much volume.

Yes, if you are are looking for something for everyday use. I am not sure about repurchasing this mascara though.
