Our brows frame our face and giving an extra time and effort to groom them and to shape them nicely is definitely worth it. A mainstay in my vanity bag is a brow pencil and a spoolie brush. That’s my combo. As for the eyebrow pencil sharpener, oh gee, I don’t want to think about them anymore. I usually forgot bringing them along and they often create mess in my vanity. I go for retractable ones. Let me share with you my review on a retractable eyebrow pencil with spoolie brush on the other end. It makes life easier. It’s the MilaniEasybrow in Natural Taupe.

My Take on Milani Easybrow:

I was at the mall last weekend and I found myself choosing between 3 eyebrow pencils. I got in my hand one from Revlon, one from Rimmel and this one from Milanijust won. I bought this MilaniEasybrow for it beat the other two because of 3 things. First, this Milanipencil is retractable and those two I mentioned above needs to be sharpened. Second, it has spoolie brush attached at the other end which is an extra feature I need. Last, it is cheaper by approximately $4 from Revlon, a dollar I think from Rimmel. Isn’t that nice? Yup, I know retractable pencils usually have less product in it compared to a pencil that needs a sharpener. Well, I am the type who would go for convenience over quantity of product. 😀

MilaniEasybrow comes in a golden retractable pencil that’s a brow liner on one end and spoolie brush on the other. It was such a convenient to use. Instead of bringing a pencil, sharpener and brush, you just have to bring one. This is something I love bringing in my bag when I travel. I tried propelling the product out of the pencil to see how long it is but I have to stop in the process because when I tried retracting, it won’t do so. But I bet it’s just an inch and a half long. The label says it has .28 grams in it or .01OZ.

It comes in 2 shades, the Dark Brown and Natural Taupe. I got the Natural taupe which is lighter. I have medium brown hair so it matches well. It appears nicely on my brows giving it nice shape but does not look too dark. From a near distance, it still looks natural. It is easy to apply on brows like there’s a slick in it. It is not as dry like other pencils I tried. On my brows, it lasts practically the whole day, like 8 hours to 9 with very minimal fading. Very minimal that my brows are still in good shape after long hours. I tried swiping it at the back of my hands and run water on it and rub, it fades just a little. And it stayed on hand for hours and hours with 2 to 3 hand washing. So it is true to its claim that it’s waterproof. Good job Milani!

What I Like- Milani Easybrow

-Right brow color for me (Natural Taupe)

-Affordable for $5

What I Don’t Like- Milani Easybrow:

-Little product in it. It’s used up fast so I need a backup.
-The spoolie brush is a bit hard

Final Thoughts: I just love this eyebrow pencil. It works great on me.
