Long time, no see, right?! I am currently in our hometown in India, hence have been unable to send reviews due to the hectic travel schedule, falling sick amidst this, and meeting a whole bunch of relatives (those of you who have traveled back to your home country after years will know exactly what I am talking about). But I do plan to be back to my home sweet home in US soon, God willing and have a whole line up of exciting new reviews waiting to be shared with you all! Today, I will be reviewing one of the items from my travel makeup kit that I have bought here with me and have been using for the past 2 months. Read on to know more about the Milani Eye Tech Liquid Eyeliner in the shade “Blackest Black.”

My Experience with Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner – Blackest Black:

Packaging:  Comes in a simple pen style format with a secure cap. Overall, it’s pretty user and travel friendly.

Applicator:  The applicator is an ultra-pointed pen tip. The tip is a bit stiffer and has less flexibility and bend-ability than other similar style eyeliners I have used in the past (Kat Von D tattoo liner and Jesse’s girl eyeliner) hence it does take some getting used to, but I do love how the product flows very smoothly out of the tip and gives a crisp line with absolutely no tug or skip and need to go over it multiple times.

The fine tip does help create clean cat eye looks and if you are creative enough, it can also be used to create artistic looks.

I also love how jet black the liner is. It’s actually one of the deepest shades of black I have used till date hence those who have always found other liners not black enough for their liking, will definitely enjoy this.

Staying Power:  The staying power is very impressive. I have worn this for about 10 hours straight and it has not budged, smeared, faded or lost the intensity of its jet black color. It is also waterproof and it took a good amount of scrubbing to remove the swatch on my skin. It does come off easily with an eye makeup remover.

This is my first buy from the brand Milani cosmetics. I have a couple other items that I will review shortly, but for now, I am very impressed with the quality of this product and have absolutely no complaints. Being a drugstore brand, it also comes at an affordable price, hence you can keep a set of backups, so that you never ever have to have another “bad eye liner” day.
