My Experience with Missha Pure Source Acai Berry Cell Sheet Mask:
This sheet mask comes in a packaging which is very sleek and easy to travel with. The details on how to use this mask and what it does etc is printed on the backside.
The mask is a thin cotton mask which is white in colour. The mask is soaked in the liquid serum. The serum is slightly thick and sticky. The mask isn’t soaking wet, but has a good amount of moisture to it. The mask is big and hence I have to make slits for it to fit well on face.
Acai berry is known to provide antioxidants. This mask made my skin smooth and hydrated. It refreshed my dull skin and it;s a great idea to use the mask chilled. This mask added plenty of moisture back into my skin. My skin felt very supple and soft after using it.
I have been using these sheet masks because it is very relaxing and the easiest way to pamper your skin. I wash my face with a face wash and then use this mask for 30 minutes or until it is semi dry.
Then, I take it off and pat the excess serum on my skin and let it remain for another 15 minutes and then wash my face with plain water, no face wash. Then, I’ll apply my night cream and doze off to sleep. Sometimes, I’ll use a toner before using the mask or aloe vera gel. I always keep the mask in deep freezer for at least 15 minutes before applying because there’s nothing better than a cool mask after a tiring day of work and travel.
This mask has a pleasant fragrance that doesn’t last longer. The mask sits comfortable on my skin and there is no irritation and it doesn’t fall off my face as it dries. Also, it didn’t break me out.
These masks give temporary results but that’s okay because I like using masks often any way. My skin feels instantly refreshed and moisturized. I’ve been using these masks regularly since a long time and I feel it has helped with the dryness. I can also skip applying face lotion because my skin doesn’t feel parched after using this mask, so yay to that!
