I purchased a ton of Montagne Jeunesse masks recently, and today’s review is about the last mud mask I used among all, Montagne Jeunesse Mint Choc Chip Mask. So read on to know more;

My experience with Montagne 7th Heaven Jeunesse Mint Choc Chip Mask:
I love Choco-Chip mint ice creams, and when I saw the mask with the same name, I knew it had to be picked up! I picked two of these sachets. I pick almost every product that has chocolate in it! However, with the love of peel off masks, and approaching winter I kept this product aside to use later, and last Sunday I decided to use it. The mask comes in a sachet like all the MJ products. The product can be used 2-3 times. Like the name suggests the mask is minty green in color, and has tiny chocolate particles. The smell is very minty and fresh. The chocolate particles are very tiny, and are not coarse, and they do not serve any purpose other than to just sit on the face of the mask.
I thought that the chocolate particles would help in exfoliating, but it failed me. The chocolate particles are very tiny and smooth to serve the purpose. The quantity in the sachet is sufficient for 2 uses. However, considering that it is a mud mask, the contents dry out if left for a week or so and once opened, this has to be used within a week. I noticed that the contents were dried near the opening. The product takes around 20 minutes to dry. It can be removed with a wet wash cloth, or can be washed off.
Once washed off, the skin feels fresh. I felt that my skin was smoother, cleansed, but there are no other advantages other than that. After washing my face, it felt bright but within few minutes it turned back to its normal form. The mask didn’t help in removing the dead cells from my face. However, I didn’t have any redness or irritation with the mask. I also noticed that the oiliness from my face was reduced but it made my skin very dry, and I had to apply a moisturizer immediately. Even though it claims that it provides intense moisturization, I didn’t notice any difference, instead my skin was dry. It can be used by oily skinned beauties, to reduce the oil secretion on the face but other than that this mask provided nothing! It is just a pretty smelling and looking face mask with no use. So summing up:

Cons of Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Mint Choc Chip Mask:
- Doesn’t provide any moisturization.
- The chocolate bits are just fancy and of no use.
- Doesn’t remove dead heads.
- No other effects shown on face.

No! I had so much expectation from this product and it failed me!
