Face masks have been my favourite. I always buy smaller sachets than bigger ones as I get the opportunity to try a lot of products that way. Montagne Jeunesse products are my current favourite. Today, I will be reviewing Montagne Jeunesse Orange and Black Lava Exfoliator and Masque. So, read on.

My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse Orange and Black Lava Exfoliator and Masque:

One of the main reasons I picked this one up was the fact that it was a 2-in-1 product and I could use it as an exfoliator and also as a masque. I was on a trip and wanted something 2-in-1 so that I didn’t have to carry two products. And, considering that it was a sachet, it was travel-friendly and this was the perfect product for me. The masque comes in a 15g sachet, similar to the other variants from the brand. The product is grey in colour and has soft granules of orange peel in it. Upon drying, the product turns pale blue in colour. The smell is citrusy and of oranges.

The masque contains clay, and it dries and can be washed off easily. According to the company, you need to massage the product and let it dry. It takes around 10-15 minutes to dry. The product can be easily applied on the face. Once you apply on the skin, you can feel a tingling effect on your face, which could be due to the presence of citric acid. I applied it to the face without using any scrub. After washing off, my skin was very smooth and soft. The masque also brightened my face. However, coming to its exfoliation properties, the product didn’t really remove any dry skin or whiteheads.

The product is a perfect choice if you need instant brightness for any special occasion. The masque also makes skin perfectly cleansed. The masque is drying and you can notice this as soon as you wash your face; you need to follow up with a moisturizer. So, I do not recommend this product to dry skinned beauties. But, for combination or oily skin, this could be a good choice. The product has enough content to be used for 2-3 times. I have used the product for around 2 weeks and it did make my skin feel great. You need to use a scrub if you need to remove all the whiteheads. The product didn’t cause any breakouts and also reduced one of the pimples I had. So, I absolutely love this product, but you need to have a moisturizer to follow up.
