I have started using some MJ regularly after a break. I had stopped using face masks for some time now because the weather is getting colder here in Australia and worse so in Canberra. Applying a face mask and leaving it on is the last thing I feel like doing.  However, I felt my skin started to look neglected and lacklustre, so I have my masks back in the radar now.  I have used the cucumber peel off mask previously and recently tried out another peel off mask from MJ.  The feeling you get while peeling off a face mask is so wonderful and so is the skin after being rejuvenated.  I bought this mask from Priceline for around $3.90.

Suitable for normal skin.

How To Apply:

Cleanse face and dry.  Apply thinly and evenly over face and neck with fingertips, avoiding eyes, lips and hair. Relax for 10-20 minutes or when totally dry gently peel off masque (never pull) wash off any stuck bits with water. Pat dry. Use weekly.

Warning: Natural ingredients may vary in colour. Like all toiletries, these masques are best kept out of reach of children. Avoid eyes. Test for irritancy before use. For external use only.

My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Mask:

This mask is of gel-like consistency and is a bit sticky. It is of dark pink colour and does not look purple as shown in the packaging.  The mask is easy to spread but should be spread evenly around the face and neck, otherwise some areas might be sticky and others would get dry, so will be such a mess when peeling off.  The product did smell of pomegranate and the fragrance was wonderful, it was a fruity smell. I do not know how passion flower smells like, but learnt that passion flower is not new to the beauty industry. It is well known to soothe skin and give relaxation benefits.

It was exactly what I experienced, pure relaxation the whole time I had the mask on. It also helps in fading blemishes. I left the mask on for 20 minutes and then my skin looked kind of orange as if I had got badly sun burnt. The mask was easy to peel off and came off in one piece except in areas where I had applied a much thicker coating.  (Why I did this was, I was on a break in Melbourne and took this mask as a pick-up before a concert.  Because of storage problem, I lathered the whole mask on, which was a mistake. This mask can be used twice, but not more than that).

After the mask came off, face was smoother, much brighter and looked like I just had a facial. The fragrance lingered on for some time even after washing it off.

Pros of Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Mask:

• Smells awesome and helps to relax.
• Contains skin benefit ingredients such as passion flower and pomegranate.
• Peels off easily compared to any other peel off mask I have used so far.
• Leaves skin smooth and radiant, skin definitely looks radiant.
• Does not contain harmful chemicals or parabens.
• Not tested on animals.

Cons of Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Mask:

• This sachet has more quantity for single use, but since it is a peel off mask (which of course will dry quickly), it is difficult to store the remaining quantity.
• I would say AUD 3.9 for a single sachet is on the pricier side.
