My Experience with MUA Lip Switch Duo Coral Pink:

Let’s begin with the packaging of this lipstick. I absolutely love the packaging. Though it does not look too luxurious, it is definitely not flimsy. This white tube with silver fonts looks sleek and beautiful. I love the concept the concept of dual ended lipsticks with the lip-gloss of the same colour. Normally, this type of dual ended lipstick comes with a lipstick with a clear lip-gloss but this one is different.

One end has a lip-gloss while the other one carries the matte lipstick. The tube is color-coded; the lip-gloss part is all coral pink in colour, which is exactly the same colour as the lip-gloss. The other lipstick end has a shade detector at its base. The shade name is also mentioned at the base of the lipstick end. So, this color-coded body can be easily spotted in makeup stash if you own a few of these. We have only this one shade available in India. I really want to try a few more.

Whether you want to flaunt a matte look or a glossy one, you will find these lippies perfect for both the looks. The shade name “Coral Pink” signifies it pretty well. It is definitely a beautiful coral pink lipstick. I love the corals with some pinkish hue. This is such a gorgeous shade, which can be easily carried to office or anywhere. It absolutely flatters my skin tone. Whether you carry it as matte or with glossy finish, it just looks beautiful. The shade is a perfect summery shade, which will suit fairer skin tones pretty well.

I prefer this shade so much these days. It looks stunning with the matte finish and looks even juicier with the lip-gloss over it. It has a very mild vanilla fragrance, which is non-bothering and hardly noticeable. The pigmentation is just wow. I was a little confused initially, if it would hide that pigmentation or not. And yes, it amazingly hides all the flaws leaving a nice coral finish. The lipstick as well as the lip-gloss has decent pigmentation. One swipe gives enough colour, but still you will need at least two swipes to even out the edges and finish. Texture wise, it is great.

The lipstick goes so smoothly over the lips; it does not drag the lips. So, I skip lip balm underneath if I go for a matte look. It feels slightly moisturizing and I would say it’s slightly different from other matte lipsticks. It gives the matte finish with the moisturizing feel. The lipstick is pretty lightweight and comfortable. But, prior exfoliation is a must else it would surely cling to the dry parts of the lips. The formula of the lip-gloss is also great. It is so soft and smooth. The consistency of the gloss is more like a lip cream. It is non-sticky and feels comfortable on the lips.

The lip gloss is pretty moisturizing in nature. So, your lips will not feel dry with this. It stays for a long time on my lips. The lasting power is 5 hours approx. with a little fading. But, once the entire colour is gone, it settles into the fine lines of the lips. The lipstick is smudge proof but with meals it smears a bit and also with the lip gloss. Overall, I am absolutely in love with this lip product. This is such a beauty and I will definitely recommend it to all coral lovers.
