Hello IMBB readers!
MUA has a wide range of lipstick shades for just 1 pound and that makes them so popular. This brand has been adding new shades to the existing lipstick range with finishes varying from matte to frost, creamy to satin. So, if you don’t want to splurge on a particular shade, MUA can offer it to you at a cheaper price. Today’s review is about MUA Lipstick in the shade “Vintage Rouge,” which is a new shade in their £1 lipstick category. Read on for more details.
MUA lipsticks offer a shade for every occasion in easy-to-wear colours. In shades from red, pink and n*des, each is packed with pigmentation for a gorgeous application. Easy to apply – glide over the lips for desired effect.
My Take on MUA Vintage Rouge Lipstick:
Packaging: MUA Lipstick “Vintage Rouge” comes in the same old packaging. The black case with a cap that closely tightly houses the lipstick bullet with a screw-able transparent pot at the bottom to reflect the shade. The product in the pot can be applied with a lip brush. I like the packaging and it’s travel friendly. This is my fourth lipstick from MUA Cosmetics.
Texture and Shade: MUA Lipstick Vintage Rouge has a creamy and soft texture that glides smoothly on the lips without any tug. The formula is moisturizing and doesn’t feel dry. The creamy consistency makes this lipstick good for dry lips since it doesn’t emphasize dry flakes on the lips, neither does it settle into fine lip lines. I adore the formula for it stays in place without feathering. The shade “Vintage Rouge” looks like a deep red shade in the bullet, but doesn’t look that deep on the lips. It is definitely a bold shade, so beauties out there who are not confident about wearing bold reds but still want to have one pretty red in their stash without paying a king’s ransom, MUA Vintage Rouge is the best choice available.
Pigmentation and Finish: MUA Vintage Rouge is a deep and bold red shade with insane pigmentation. Even one light swipe deposits a burst of red on the lips. It has a creamy finish. I would have really preferred matte finish for such a dark red lipstick because creamy finish of bold shades makes them shine, making your lips stand out. Also, the shiny finish looks terrible in pictures when the light is reflected.
Longevity: It stays in place for 7-8 hours at average and leaves behind a beautiful red stain. MUA Vintage Rouge is a long-wearing lipstick on account of the shade and insane pigmentation. It survives meals but starts feathering because it has a slippery formula. It leaves behind a faint stain.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase MUA Vintage Rouge Lipstick?
Yes, I definitely recommend it, but to only those who are looking for a red lipstick and are strictly on a budget. Since I have a dozen of red lipsticks waiting to be finished, I wouldn’t repurchase it any time soon.
