It’s the end of month already! I wish time did not fly this fast. But as they say, go with the flow. May the new month bring you happiness and makeup products 😉 Talking about today’s review, I’m reviewing a lip balm from Natio.
Well, Natio is a newly introduced brand to us on IMBB and not many products are up yet, but this brand does seem to provide a nice skin care range. I ordered this lip balm through an online site but the delivery was very slow :/ Winter is here and lip care products are as important as skin care products and I’m sure all of us have stocked up lip balms in our bags and drawers and maybe denim pockets as well 😉 Read on to know if this lip balm deserves its space in the makeup kit or not.
Price:Rs. 235 for 4g
Fragrance: Sweet vanilla-like smell.
Conditioning and deeply moisturising lip balms with a hint of sheer, natural colour. Rich in nourishing natural emollients, the creamy Shea butter formula conditions and protects lips. Lightly tinted and packed with vitamin A and E to coat lips in cute, caring colour. Available in six sheer happy-go-lucky shades.
My take on Natio Giggle Tinted Lip Balm:
I ordered this lip balm online. There were 6 shades to choose from but since I’m a pink and red lover, I selected to buy the shade giggle which looked like a shade of red; but when I received the stick balm the colour seemed to be from the brown family. When I swatched it on my hand, it felt like a sheer colour in shade of pink. I have this tendency of liking nice-smelling products and this lip balm smells heavenly 😀 also the scent stays for long after the balm is applied on lips. The packaging is stick like and a twister is provided at the bottom like most other stick lip balms. Its mini and therefore can be carried in sling bags as well.
Texture: It has lip butter-like consistency and a nice creamy texture and glides smoothly onto the lips. It doesn’t feel very cakey if applied one stroke but multiple strokes may be bothering and feel sticky.
The lip balm stays on for long and is quite moisturising. And since it has a sheer tint of colour I make it a point to apply it under my matte lipsticks. It gives a subtle look to bare lips while keeping the lips hydrated. I also felt that this lip balm gives a fuller effect to the lips. Although, the sad part is that it may bleed a little due to its very smooth texture and girls with pigmented lips much like mine, will hesitate a little to wear the lip balm alone as the colour pigmentation isn’t that great. But otherwise, it’s a nice moisturising lip balm to own.
Pros of Natio Giggle Tinted Lip Balm:
• Travel friendly
• Contains Shea butter, Jojoba, Aloe
• Gives moisturised lips
• Smooth texture
• Contains vitamin A and vitamin E
• Sweet smell
• Keeps the lips hydrated for long
• Can be used under lipstick
Cons of Natio Giggle Tinted Lip Balm:
• Doesn’t give any colour to lips.
• Bleeds a little.
• Girls with pigmented lips wouldn’t want to wear it on bare lips.
• Multiple application makes the lips feel sticky.
Will I repurchase Natio Giggle Tinted Lip Balm?
Not this same shade, but shall purchase another shade from this range.
Word of caution: The actual shade of the balm varies from that shown online, so choose wisely.
