Nature’s Essence Gold Gel Review

Hello all!

Today I’ll be reviewing another Nature’s Essence product. I have so many of their products to review that it might seem as if I’m being sponsored by them. But, no! I bought everything on my own. It’s just that most of their products were not reviewed, so I bought a whole lot of things from them. I have 1 more product left to review and then there are Coloressence lipsticks that I’m excited about. Let’s get started with this review!

Price:
INR 275 for 100 gm

My Experience with Nature’s Essence Gold Gel:

This massaging gel comes in a golden box with details printed all over. The tub in which it comes is surprisingly white in color as I was expecting it to be golden colored; you know to keep up with the ‘Gold‘ theme! The tub is made out of thick plastic and is quite bulky. The lid protects the gel from leaking, however every time I put the lid on, some gel oozes out of the sides of the lid. It doesn’t look nice, so you have to clean up the circumference. The gel is golden in color (needless to say), but it has extremely fine gold micro shimmers. You do not feel the shimmers no matter how hard you try. The gel actually looks super cute and glittery.

The gel reminds me of the gold glitters we used to get for our craft assignments (chamki!). Hehe! The gel is thick and spreads very easily even on dry face. It doesn’t dry out quickly, which is a plus because most gels tend to dry up if we massage them on the face for more than 3-4 minutes continuously whilst sitting under a fan. I like the consistency and the texture of the gel a lot as it is really easy to work with. Anyone can use this, without a manual by just massaging your face and neck in circular motions. It has a nice fragrance to it which doesn’t linger while you massage it for 4 minutes.

Now coming to the claims, I tried this on my mom first as her skin isn’t sensitive. I massaged this on her for about 5 minutes. There wasn’t any glow or brightness on her face, but she said that her face felt fresh, softer and moisturized. The next day her skin looked just a tiny bit better. She did not have any breakouts or anything of that sorts. So, I applied it on my face and neck after a few days. I noticed some brightness on my face as my face looked dull before using it due to lack of sleep, exams and my busy schedule. So, it combated that dullness and my face looked better, softer and moisturized. I cannot see any more changes with it. I did not have any breakouts, as my skin is a tiny bit sensitive, so that’s a good thing.

Summing up the pros and cons,

Pros of Nature’s Essence Gold Gel:

• Decently priced
• Gel looks very nice
• Love the texture
• Very easy to apply
• Takes less time
• Face feels fresh and moisturized
• Combats dullness
• Contains natural ingredients

Cons of Nature’s Essence Gold Gel:

• I was expecting it to make my skin glow as it’s a gold gel, but nothing of that sort happened

IMBB Rating:
3.9 / 5

Verdict:
I won’t recommend this to you as it practically does nothing extraordinary to the skin. But if you have oily and sensitive skin and are looking forward to something that won’t make your face more oily/give you breakouts, this is a good choice.

  1. I have also tried a couple of gold gels from other brands, but they just never reap any benefits, not the glow at least. I am also excited about your Coloressence collection.

  2. The gel looks so cute!!!! just like you said….Chamki!!! 🙂 but I am afraid to use anything which is laden so heavily with glitters. plus it did not do anything great for you. So its a pass for me 🙁
