My Experience with the Nivea Care Intensive Face and Body Cream:
There was a time in my life when I used to use Ponds cold cream like my holy grail. I used it on my face as a moisturizer, night cream, body cream, hand cream. I replaced this with Nivea cream. There are few varieties from Nivea and this is a new one I found. Recently when I saw this new Nivea Intensive face and body cream I thought was perfect for the extremely cold weather and dry skin.
The packaging is very nice and attractive. I like the shape of it and also the twist lid which is very secure in all conditions. The overall packaging is also light blue and white. It feels very gently by the looks of it. The packaging also has a sheet of aluminium sheet to protect unintended trying of products in the drugstore. So it’s very hygienic too.
The consistency of the product is very creamy. It looks white in colour. The fragrance is very typical classic Nivea fragrance with a hint of floral fragrance. I love this smell. I feel it’s very mild and not overpowering.
The cream soothes and leaves the skin not greasy. The skin feels very soft after usage. This cream is intended for dry skin which needs that intensive care. I have dry and sensitive skin and I had no problems using it. I have used it on my face and rest of the body too. It caused no breakouts or rashes on my skin.
The cream gets absorbed into the skin very easily.
I normally use this cream as night cream sometimes when my skin has dry flakes. I apply a coin-sized amount and massage it well into my skin. I take almost 3 minutes or so to massage so that the cream is well absorbed and feels nourished. I wipe off the excess cream and so to sleep. The next day morning I scrub my face with a cream scrub and wash it off. By doing this all the flakes disappear.
I use Retinol cream every day and so certain parts of my face on skin get really flaky and make it hard to apply makeup. TO my rescue I use this cream. I apply a slightly thick layer of cream and leave it for 5 minutes or so. Then I gently massage it with fingers on the flaky area and all the dry flakes come out immediately without any damage to the skin. This really helps me and happy with the results.
I also use it on my knees or elbows or wherever I feel dry or itchy. This helps in conditioning the skin and keeping it healthy looking. The best part of this product is that it’s paraben free and no added colour.
I love the results and it works as a multifunctional cream to me.
