My Experience with Nivea Repair and Targeted Care Shampoo:
It comes in a typical Nivea packaging. It comes in a plastic bottle with a tall neck. It has a flap lid which is very thin, but very strong. The whole packaging is light blue in color and the lid alone is dark blue in color. The packaging on the whole is good, but one has to make sure that the lid closes properly. Since the lid is very thin, it falls in place quickly. But, to make sure that it is closed securely and there is no leakage, one has to press it hard, till a click sound is heard.
The consistency of the product is runny and liquid. It is white in color and smells good. The shampoo is supposed to be enriched with Kera Detect – NIVEA’s Intelligent Repair System and Nutri-Essences, a mixture of nourishing Macadamia Oil and Eucerit elements.
These oils are supposed to target the damaged hair and then repair them. It is also supposed to add shine and make it look healthy. Since it has oil content, I assumed that it might weigh down the hair. But it didn’t. Due to the oil, the frizz came down. I did not notice any major changes like the hair looking shiny or healthy. My hair looked the same before and after. so, no changes in the damaged hair too. The product lathers well and cleans the hair well. The hair smells great too.
Overall it a good shampoo, but you cannot expect any major changes after using it.
