Here is the review of my favorite red lip gloss. This is NYX girls lip gloss in the shade “frosted red”. A lip gloss adds a class to your look and lifts it up instantly. A nude face with a perfect pout is the trend this season. Let’s start with the review.

Ingredients: –

polybutylene, mineral oil, hydrogenated polydecene, diisosteryl manatee, polyglyceryl -2- triisostearate, pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, ,aloe barbadensis leaf extract, ceresin, silica dimethyl silylate, calcium aluminum borosilicate, C18-38, tocopheryl acetate, BHA fragrance, titanium dioxide, ,iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, Cl 15850,Cl 12085, Cl 45410
Pac kaging: – They come in the usual round tube with a black cap. The color of the gloss can be seen from outside since the bottle is made up of glass. The name of the company is written on the tube. It has an angled sponge applicator which is very easy to use.

My experience with NYX Girls Lip Gloss – Frosted red:

I am in love with everything red. Red nail polishes, red dresses, and red lips. And for achieving those red lips…I recently bought Revlon just bitten kissable lip balm stain in the shade romantic and Nyx girls lip gloss in the shade ‘frosted red’. NYX lip glosses have received rave reviews here on IMBB and this one is no less. It’s a shimmery lip gloss which is not extremely pigmented. It is not very heavy on the lips and moisturizes them efficiently. The color does not show on the lips as it is in the bottle but glosses are for gloss…and not for color. Use it on freshly scrubbed lips on a nude lipstick and you will have a sexy polished pout within seconds. The shimmer is very fine and does not stay after the color is gone which I like. It is not sticky like some glosses in the market but is not too runny. Overall, the gloss serves its purpose and I will give it full marks for the lovely polished look it gives to the lips.

Pros of NYX Girls Lip Gloss – Frosted Red:

1) The color gives a very healthy red glow to the lips.
2) Very fine shimmer which does not stay for long.
3) Will look great if applied on a nude lipstick.
4) The quantity and quality is great.
5) Has a mild fragrance which is very nice.
6) Cute packaging.
7) NYX does not test on animals.

Cons of NYX Girls Lip Gloss – Frosted Red:

1) A bit sheer. A little more pigmentation would have hurt nobody.
2) Availability.

Overall Verdict:-

I love this gloss for the color. It looks great when applied with my Revlon just bitten kissable lip balm stain of the same shade. And there are 36 colors to choose from, so everybody will have their favorite color somewhere in the range.
