Lay on the lavish moisture. This unique blend, infused with argan oil, silk amino acids, soybean oil, coconut oil, and shea butter extract, helps moisturize while creating soft, touchable tresses that shine.
How to use – As a deep treatment (In Shower) after shampooing, apply a small amount into palm and evenly distribute into damp hair from root to ends. For optimum results, allow the steam from the shower to penetrate each strand. Leave in for 3 minutes then rinse. After the shower: To use as a (Leave-In) treatment, apply a small amount to damp hair. Then, comb or use fingers to detangle. Style as usual. On Body: Massage generously all over body in the morning and at night. Warning: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs rinse immediately. For best results use in conjunction with other OGX products.

My Experience with OGX Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Strength Creamy Hair Butter:
OGX products are widely available in Australia, but I have not tried them before because they are pricey, and moreover, I had silky smooth hair, so I didn’t actually concentrate on hair products. But soon after my pregnancy, everything changed and I experienced major hair fall, and then, it started growing back. To my disappointment, my hair started to grow very frizzy and curly. So, now, I am on a hunt for good hair products to tame my unruly hair. I have read some good reviews about OGX products, and so I picked up this Argan Oil Hair Butter.
This hair butter comes in a nice and stout blue colour tub which has this beautiful golden brown colour rim on the lid. The label mentions every detail including the ingredients, which I find quite helpful. The cap has a screw-lock mechanism, which might be a problem sometimes in the shower when hands are wet or soapy. So, overall, the packaging is okay.
As soon I open the lid, I smell this beautiful tropical fresh and creamy fragrance. It is white in colour and has a nice thick creamy consistency, which is something similar to TBS Body Butter. It feels very thick, dense and creamy. This hair butter can be used in three ways, as a normal conditioner in the shower, as a leave-in hair butter and also as a body butter.
When I am done washing my hair, I take it on my palms and evenly distribute it through the length of my hair concentrating near the ends, without touching the roots. Depending on the length of your hair, you might need more or less amount. I let it sit and let my hair absorb all the moisture for a good 10-15 minutes at max, or maybe 5-7 minutes when I am in a hurry. To wash it out, I always use cold water. Sometimes, I also use it as a leave-in conditioner on dry hair, and a little is enough for the entire hair while doing so.
When using it as a conditioner in the shower or a leave-in butter, it works like a normal conditioner. I find that this moisturises my hair really well and detangles them to an extent. My hair looks and feels healthy. It does not weigh down my hair. It made my hair softer. The lovely smell lasts for a day and it is quite nice actually. It provides a decent bit of shine to the hair. When using it as a body butter, it hydrates the skin well and moisturizes it and makes it smooth.
I expected something more from this product, but it worked as a normal drugstore conditioner and didn’t do anything extraordinary. I got this mainly for my frizzy hair, but it did nothing for that, which is pretty annoying. It did work well for my hair which tends to get dry, but I did not notice anything which would make me go Wow about it. It did condition my hair very well and worked decently in other areas, I wish it made my hair silkier, smoother and frizz-free, like we all expect conditioning products to do. I really like it as my regular hair conditioner but I am not so sure I look at it with something which would repair my damaged hair. I did not see any long-term effects on my hair with the usage of this product.
