Outfit of the Day: Venus Cut Black and Red Dress
Hello lovelies!
Hope everyone’s having a nice day. Me, I am glad that I am starting my week brimming with so much joy. Finally, what we been waiting for has come. With the good news we received last week, we had a simple celebration yesterday. We just ate lunch at our favorite restaurant here in our place. Let me share with you photos of me in an outfit I wore on that day before going out. I wore one of my favorite dresses. I absolutely love the colors of this venus cut dress. Black and red combo is almost always fabulous. I love how this stylish dress can bring so much comfort to me that I think I wore this over a dozen of times already!
I wore my red sandals to match the red patterns on my dress. Like the dress, this flat foot ware is as comfortable as it is stylish. I carried a black rectangular purse to keep the look simple and coordinated.
For accessories, I wore my black bracelet with flower accent to it and red earrings.
For my makeup, I used Maxfactor Panstik as spot concealer, 4U2 DreamGirl Concealer on my under eyes, Maybelline BB Silk Cake Powder on face, 4U2 Gel Liner and NYX Natural Eyeshadow on eyes, Clinique Powder Blush in Fig on cheeks and NYX SLMC in Amsterdam on lips.

just saw your comment. salt scrubbing only once in aweek. I thought we can exfoliate daily.. *shock* please advice Val *scared*
Hi Nirmala. I do gentle exfoliation around twice to thrice a week with a soft seasponge and liquid bath. Since I feel that salt scrubs are a bit abrasive on skin, I only do it once a week. I read Scott Barnes book, (btw he is the makeup artist of jennifer lopez), he advises to exfoliate once to twice in a week only. Over exfoliation might strip healthy skin cells which may cause irritations. I just follow that and I feel that it worked for me. Try and see if it will work for you too. 🙂

I have one question to all the beautiful ladies.. i always get this doubt, I dont know what kind of innerwear to choose for this kind of dress.
HI Lakhmi, *thankyou* *thankyou* Whenever I wear a dress, I use seamless underwear. SO no there’s panty lines showing. I sometimes use a boyleg too, works the same. There are underwear now that goes up to the rib part until few inches above the knee. I don’t know what’s it called but I think it will work and I wanna try it too.:)
