I have been quite obsessed with PTR skin care products, especially their face masks. After trying out the Bubbling Mask, the results have imbibed more faith in me about the brand, to an extent that I will never hesitate to purchase PTR products. I believe these are expensive for a reason! Anyway, it’s time to review a sunscreen by them. It’s the Peter Thomas Roth Max Sheer All Day Moisture Defense Lotion SPF 30. Let’s begin 🙂

My Experience with Peter Thomas Roth Max Sheer All Day Moisture Defense Lotion SPF 30:
Packaging: The product comes packaged in a simple cardboard paper box with the product and a lot of details displayed on it. The product bottle is a nice and compact white pump bottle with a sturdy cap. The pump dispenses a little product in one go, so there is no fear of any sunscreen being wasted. It can be easily thrown into the purse while travelling. All in all, good packaging PTR!
Color and Texture: The sunscreen is a white-colored cream which thankfully does not leave any white cast on the face. The consistency of the cream is between a thick cream and lotion. It is not greasy by any means, but is sure hydrating. I have super oily skin and I use this baby directly after toning my face as a sunscreen + moisturiser and it works wonderfully. It absorbs into the skin really well and can be easily worn under makeup as it does not let the face sweat like a pig!
Smell: There is absolutely no fragrance to this sunscreen, which is a great thing because of two reasons – no added fragrance means no added chemical and sensitive noses can enjoy a fragrance-free sunscreen. Even if I try to take a strong whiff of the product, I don’t smell anything. Yaaayy!!
Quality: Overall, I would say that this baby is just awesome! I cannot find one bad point about this sunscreen except the price, but I believe, that’s fair for a product that comes with such quality ingredients and brand faith! Even during really hot days, it prevents my face from any sunburns or rashes and also keeps it hydrated and nice throughout the day.

- Pricey (not a major con considering the quality).
- Not available in India.

Absolutely! If the steep price tag does not bother you, then I would highly recommend this hydrating sunscreen to all, even men because everyone needs sun protection. This is a great facial sunscreen and shall always be a part of my skincare stash because finally I have found a sunscreen that has no fragrance, is hydrating, contains good SPF, does not leave a white cast and does not make me sweat! What else can one ask for from a sunscreen!
