We get so many queries on Ask IMBB, a majority of them on hair removal techniques for the face and body, such queries let me know that I am not the only one with hair woes 😛 I get waxing done at the parlour, but always keep looking for stuff like this – wax strips – that can be used within the comfort of one’s home and in a situation where I do not have enough time to visit a parlour. Pretty Smooth Bikini and Undermar Wax Strips offer you a one step solution to help remove unwanted hair from bikini line and from underarms.
Directions For Use:
Ensure your skin is clean and dry (free from oils and creams). Hair should be between 2 to 5 mm long for better results. To warm – rub between your hands. Apply one side of the wax strip on the area where you wish to remove hair. Firmly smooth the strip. Holding the skin taut to avoid discomfort, immediately pull the strip back on itself against the direction your hair grows, keeping the strip as close to the skin as possible.

This pack contains 16 wax strips and 4 finishing wipes. Wax strip size is 2 x 7.5 cm. Finishing wipe size is 9 x 13 cm.

My Take on Pretty Smooth Bikini and Underarm Wax Strips:
I would start off by saying that these wax strips do a very good job. These strips are specifically meant for underarm and bikini areas, I have bought the other variant too, and will review it tomorrow. First of all, the strips are of correct length and width and the strips are coated well with wax.
A patch test is recommended before using these, I did not develop any kind of irritation after using the strips. Two strips are bound together with wax and one needs to warm it pretty good by rubbing between hands.
After pulling the strips apart, both sides can be used to remove hair. Coming to the effectiveness, they adhere well, remove hair nicely from areas, and does not cause any irritation. There are 4 finishing wipes provided to clean the area off wax. Using these strips is completely mess free, effortless, and the results are great. I would definitely recommend all of you to get a pack and check out for yourself.
