How are you all!! How is the shopping going for Diwali. I am not getting any leaves for Diwali from my office. So this will be another Diwali in a row away from home.

Ok, let’s talk about today’s product. I am going to review Purederm Anti-Stress Heat Therapy Mask- Oatmeal. It is all because of IMBB that now I know many of the brands which I was not aware before. I love trying different masks. I get bored of the same one. Purederm has I believe two variants in Anti Stress heat therapy mask. The apricot version is already reviewed on IMBB before. So coming to the review.

Purederm Botanical Choice Anti-Stress Heat Therapy Mask “Oatmeal” has a special formulation to heat up instantly after being applied to your face, like a hot towel treatment. Plus, Oatmeal & Honey, a natural skin protectant, help skin keep an ideal level of moisture, while providing intense nourishment and elasticity to dry skin.

How to use:

Thoroughly cleanse face. Apply the mask evenly over face and neck, avoiding eyes and lips. After 15-20 minutes, rinse with water.

My experience with Purederm Anti-Stress Heat Therapy Mask- Oatmeal:

I had never used self heating mask before, so I was very excited about using this one. The pack comes in sachet kind of form like all other purederm masks. The image of lady on the pack had cream coloured thick mask on her face, but when I opened the pack it was white coloured. The consistency is too runny making it difficult to apply. It is runnier than your body wash. Imagine how one would apply such a runny face pack. Difficult to apply and more difficult to let it remain on your face because it keeps on dripping from everywhere. About the fragrance, it reminds me of some shampoo, I am not able to recall which shampoo it is, but it is very perfumed fragrance.

Before applying I cleanse my face with water. After applying the pack it did gave warm effect, which was very relaxing. I applied it for 30 minutes and it did not dry after 30 minutes like other packs. It was easy to remove but be careful, it will sting your eyes if it goes in. Even after removing the pack, the warm sensation was there. One thing which I would like to share with you all, it actually caused a burning sensation near my lips which was too much to bear. I had to rub ice cube to minimize that. May be it is due to my skin type.

Overall it did make my skin look fresh and glowy.

Summing up:

• Affordable
• nice fragrance which relaxes you
• heating effect good enough to relax you
• can be used 2-3 times
• Makes my skin look fresh and glowy

Cons for Purederm Anti-Stress Heat Therapy Mask- Oatmeal:

• Difficult to store once opened
• Very runny consistency
• Heating sensation is too much especially near lips area

Would I repurchase or recommend Purederm Anti-Stress Heat Therapy Mask- Oatmeal?

I will not repurchase it as I didn’t like it being too runny. May be you guys can give it a try and see how it suits you.
