My opinion on Redken Hair Serum
I, ladies have very unruly untamed hair which react to humidity and everything else.
Be it summer be it winter or any season I have a new hair issue. That’s my hair type.
I have long hair dark brown in colour and have rebounded them twice. (Yeah I was super foolish)
So that’s my hair description now coming to the serum and what it does and not.
The product I got in 2009 in California. Just picked it up in a mall. I remember I had done some research before picking this up and this was good to use before using a straightening iron. And I needed it for this purpose only. So I used one pump or two before ironing on semi-dry hair.
Too much use of this serum makes my hair oily.
Doesn’t weight my hair down though, isn’t sticky. You need to use the exact amount needed for hair type. It will take a little time to figure out.
Pros of Radken Hair Serum
• Redken products are widely available all over the world
• Good as a heat protectent.something that shields before you straight iron.
• Has a good detangling effect
• Adds a lot of shine
• The smell is great
Cons of Radken Hair Serum
• Does not do anything for my split ends
• I do not use all the products from this range just this. Maybe all have a good effect in combination
• Pricey was 20 dollars plus .for a serum too much
• If I compare it to my matrix serum which is my hg I prefer that
• Hair become oily after 2 days
Overall a waste for me. Just the shine is good and I am not spending such amount on this kind of serum again. Maybe it works for oily hair and just one pump is required. As mine are dry they need more moisture and goodness.
